Dismantling including taking-up and removing the Non-Clog submersible pump & motor of following capacity, AC, 3 Phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz of any make/ model/ type from treated water sump of STP located at different STP/ pump houses, by disconnecting delivery pipes and electrical connections etc., for repair and servicing, re-assembling the pump and motor (taking it to workshop and back, if required) re-fixing back to its position after getting repaired and making all connections tested for satisfactory function all as specified and as directed:- Note:- The cost of labour element and conveyance for 'taking to workshop where required & repair and servicing, re-assembling the pump and motor' will be measured and paid separately under relevant items here-in-after.

Taking the dismantled Non-Clog submersible pump and motor to workshop from different pump houses and bringing back to STP/ pump houses after carrying-out repair and servicing the pump & motor of following capacity, AC, 3 Phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz of any make/ model/ type all as specified and as directed:- Note:- 1) This item will be measured for 'conveyance' and 'only once per pump set cum motor' after getting satisfactory functioning. 2) The cost of labour element for 'repair and servicing, re-assembling the pump and motor' will be measured and paid separately under relevant items here-in-after.

Dismantling and opening Non-Clog submersible pump assembly of 7.5/5 HP capacity, assembling back after carrying-out repairs and testing for proper functioning including necessary machining works as required, for removing unserviceable spares & replacing with new spares, all as specified and as directed:- Note:- Spare parts will be measured and paid under appropriate items of BOQ here-in-under as `Supply and fix, in repairs'.

Removing burnt-out winding wires complete, cleaning stator and rotor assembly, rewinding with copper conductor winding wire of same gauge and type of insulation from Dismantled and opened up submersible type motor of following capacities including applying insulating varnish over the complete winding, drying up by heating as required including replacement of terminal blocks and terminal bolts and nuts, complete all as specified and as directed:- Note:- The cost of labour element for 'Dismantling and opening-up submersible type motor AC, Three Phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz of 4" dia submersible pump /raw sewage transfer pump and assembling back' will be measured under appropriate items of BOQ.

Cleaning of semi-under ground treated water storage sump (located at various places at any depth) of 50000 Ltrs storage capacity by specialized sewage tank 'TAN CLEAN' process all as specified. (i) Mechanized removal of all remaining dirty water by high capacity submersible pump set. (ii) Removal of sludge by vacuum operated German pump. (iii) Cleaning of walls, ceiling and bottom of tank by German made high pressure rotary jet with 120 bars pressure. (iv) Sterilization of tank by Echo-Friendly bio-degradable agent of tank clean and shall be highly effective against all pathogens. (v) Sterilization of tank atmosphere by industrial UV radiator leaving the tank completely sterilise by specialized method. Note :- The work shall be got executed through a reputed specialized water tank cleaning Agency as approved by GE.

Material and labour for cleaning of intake Airetion Open type Cascade (once in a year), located at various places through specialized sewage tank 'TAN CLEAN' process, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only sodium hypo chlorine solution of 5-6% concentration for STP I & STP II. Note:- Mixing sodium hypo chlorine solution shall be done by the skilled Tradesman all as directed; without any extra cost to the department.

Supply only Oil 320 for Air blower for STP I & STP II. Note:- Filling oil shall be done by the skilled Tradesman all as directed; without any extra cost to the department.

Supply only grease for STP I & II. Note:- Filling/ Applying grease shall be done by the skilled Tradesman all as directed; without any extra cost to the department (1kg/month consumable for both STPs).

Supply only Bio culture or Urea & DAP for STP-I & STP-II. Note:- Mixing (weekly once for both plants) Bio culture/ Urea etc., shall be done by the skilled Tradesman all as directed; without any extra cost to the department.

Supply & fix Belt & Gland rope for Air Blower for STP I & STP II complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & fix Air diffuser for air blower for STP I & STP II complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for removing filter media comprising graded sand, gravel, graded pebbles etc., from the filter plant, cleaning and drying up the inside surfaces and pipe line distributors of the filter plant including preparation of surfaces and applying one coat of anti corrosive black paint inside the plant and filling the new filter media in layers as per the plan displayed in the plant room for both STP I & STP II, once in entire contract period duly maintaining periodicity of cleaning, complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- 1) STP-I and STP-II will be measure as separate units. 2) Filter media i.e., graded sand, gravel, graded pebbles etc., will be measured and paid as 'Supply only' under appropriate items (here-in-after) of BOQ.

Supply and fix MCCB four pole, 100 Amps, 16 KA capacity with extended terminal connecting up and testing complete; including taking down existing unserviceable MCCB, all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix single phase preventor connecting up and testing complete all as specified and as directed.

Manning, operation and maintenance of Sewage treatment plant of capacity 500 KLD each plant ( 2 NOs) located at STP DC I and STP DC III AF station Avadi including 40 KVA DG set along with control panel and distribution panel, treated water pump-sets; in THREE shift for round the clock operation on all days (with out any holiday) with each shift eight hours from 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs,1400 hrs to 2200 hrs,2200 hrs to 0600 hrs of next chronological day, by deploying one skilled tradesman per plant in each shift, including carrying-out certain minor repairs as and when occurs, including mixing of chemicals/ solutions/ Bio-culture/ urea etc., applying grease as required and replacing worn-out/ unserviceable spare parts, accessories with new items as mentioned in BOQ here-in-before all as specified and directed:- (Ref Note No 40.07 to 40.14 applicable for this item)

Periodic maintenance, manning and operation shall be carried out for Sewage treatment of the plant.

Controlling the valves during water supply sewage water/treated water to 23 ED AF Stn Avadi.

The manning and operation, comprehensive maintenance include mixing/ filling/ applying all consumables including all chemicals etc., made readily available to the skilled tradesman, as per the requirement as 'supply only items' under appropriate items of BOQ, for operation and testing.

The skilled tradesman shall operate and maintain (as required) the DG set, treated water pumps including aeration cascades, internal electric lighting of sewage treatement plant provided at No extra cost. The details are as under :- (a) 02 Nos of Treated water pumps 900 LPM at 20M Head. (b) 02 Nos of Treated water pumps 900 LPM at 28M Head. (c) Cascades - 02 Nos. (d) Pump-set for cascade-04 Nos, 5 HP (submersible).

Complete monitoring the valves inside the STPs for the distribution pipe lines pertaining to DC-I, 23ED, 8BRD HQ, GUARD ROOM, DC-III, OFFICER QTR, DC-IV AF STN, SWTs and building as directed.

Maintenance of plinth/ equipement/ system etc as per the daily, weekly, monthly and yearly maintenance schedule as per Appendix in PS and to maintain register.

Notes:- (a) The operating Tradesmen should record the voltage and ampere etc., in the daily log sheet as per format mentioned here-in-after in PS as Appendix 'A' for DG set and Appendix 'B' for pump sets. Supplying required daily log sheet. (b) The operating Tradesmen should be capable for attending minor defects/ rectification and for this purpose necessary tools/ tool kit should be provided by contractor. (c) The contractor shall ensure that cleaning of installations on daily basis shall be done and installation buildings shall be maintained clean and tidy in and around cascade units up to 3 metre from the external face of cascade units. (d) The contractor shall ensure to provide safety devices to the tradesmen. (e) Sludge removal will be done by the contrctor from the sludge drying bed. (f) Operation of chlorination plant shall be done daily by the Tradesmen as per given instruction and updating necessary records for residual chlorine incating daily consumption. (g) Bio-data containing Aadhar card No., Bank A/C No., EPF A/C No., Educational Qualification, Experience etc., along with supporting documents of each Tradesmen shall be submitted to department by the contractor. (h) All the training certificates of operation shall be submitted to Engineer-in-charge within the 15 days of Acceptance of tender. It may be noted that contractor shall be sole responsible for any mishappening occurs including accident/ injury due to deploying of inexperiance/ unskilled persons. Each operator shall be responsible for operation checking and cleaning of the DG Set, AC plants as per duty roster and as directed. The operation shall have requisite qualifiaction/ experience.

Notes (continued):- (j) Payment to operating staff should be carried out by online payment through Aadhar linked bank account. (k) Operator should inform to JE/Engineer-in-Charge for any electrical breakdown immediately. (l) Recovery rate Rs 1200/- each shift for absence of manpower. (m) All tools and plants like Piler, HT Gloves, dress, safety shoe, Screw driver, tester, test lamps, Multi meter, Bamboo ladder etc for rectifying the fault occurring etc., will be provided by the contractor. (n) Contractor shall make necessary arrangements for undergoing operations training and enabling them to be well versed with rescue operation of trapped person and other safety mechanism. (o) The rates quoted are deemed to be inclusive of cost of these provisions i.e., Note No 40.01 to 40.08 without any extra cost to the dept. (p) To ensure enforcement of rights conferred to labour under various acts and laws by principle employer shall strictly be followed. The quoted rates shall deemed to be inclusive of all statutory taxes, charges/contribution like EPF,ESIC etc promulgated by state/Central Government from time to time including minimum wages applicable as notified. In case the quoted rates of bidders are found to be less than minimum wages including statutory contributions taxes as brought out in Sch 'A' notes here-in-before, the accepting officer reserves the right to reject such ‘Q’ bid under his discreation and the ‘Q’ bid of such firm will be liable for rejection.
