SPECIAL REPAIRS FOR REPLACEMENT OF STANDBY DG SET FOR K SUB STATION AT NAVAL STATION KARANJA

Supply installation, commissioning and testing of silent, diesel engine driven factory assembled floor mounted, generating set of capacity 250 KVA/ 200 KW, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 HZ, 1500 RPM complete with safety control, the engine shall be compatible to latest CPCB-II norms and having inbuilt emission control system to reduce PM level and metering equipments mounted on common base frame on new PCC foundation required at site and as recommended by manufacturer complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge comprising of the following:- (A) Prime Mover directly coupled, diesel engine, turbo charged, water cooled suitably de-rated of matching BHP for driving 250 KVA/ 200 KW capacity alternator electric start four stroke conforming to IS- 10000 Part-II, 1980/IS/ISO 8528 for continuous running and capable for taking 10% over load for one hour complete with the following accessories:- (i) Fly wheel to suit flexible coupling (ii) Flexible coupling with guards (iii) Air cleaners with filters (iv) Lubricating oil filter, fuel filter, fuel pre filter (v) Anti-vibration pads as recommended by manufacturer (vi) Fuel injecting system with injection pump, nozzles, governer (mechanical) of suitable capacity (vii) Electric start equipment (viii) Dynamo/ alternator for charging battery - 1 No along with cutout

(ix) Lead acid storage battery 12 volts, as recommended by manufacturer Make - Exide along with copper battery lead and connector. (x) Battery rack made out of MS angle iron 40x40x5mm & 150mm height. (xi) Standard safety device (xii) Exhaust silencer (Residential Silencer) with exhaust piping of suitable size brought out side the building and complete length of silencer and exhaust piping continously wrapped with 12mm dia asbestos rope and suitable anti-vibration arrangement around pipe passing through wall. (xiii) Electric/ mechanical as per manufacturer instructions panel duly wired and comprising of the following:- (aa) Lubrication oil temperature gauge - 1 No (bb) Lubrication oil pressure gauge - 1 No (cc) Water temperature gauge - 1 No (dd) Starting switch with key - 1 No

(ee) Battery charging ammeter, battery charging lamp and fuse box, voltmeter, engine speedometer, engine running hours meter, frequency meter. Engine Make: Cummins, Model: C250D5P or equivalent (ff) Indicator lamp etc., (gg) Fuel level indication. (B) Alternator 250 KVA/ 200 KW at 0.8 power factor, self regulated, self excited, screen protected 3 phase with neutral 415 volts 50 Hz 1500 RPM, as per IS-4722/IS/ISO 8528 complete with automatic voltage regulator including making cable connections, insulation class - F and alternator control panel as supplied by manufacturer. Make: STAMFORD or equivalent. (C) Base frame sturdy,MS fabricated, channel iron base frame for mounting the engine and alternator.

(D) ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE of suitable size to accommodate DG set 250 KVA/ 200 KW, modular construction, fabricated out of 3mm thick, cold annealed CRC sheet duly epoxy painted. Doors to be provided with high quality EDPN gasket, duly epoxy painted. The canopy to be equipped with fans of reputed manufacturer for air circulation. Rock wool to be used for insulation. (E) AMF CONTROL PANEL SUITABLE FOR OUTDOOR INSTALLATION WITH BY PASS ARRANGEMENT: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of AMF (Automatic Mains Failure) panel suitable for generating set of capacity 250 KVA factory made, fabricated out of CRCA sheet (3mm thick) of suitable size, with AMF panel with double contactor totally enclosed, dust, damp and vermin proof free standing floor mounted type and front operated, degree of protection required will be IP-55 conforming to IS 2147 with and including necessary foundation complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: Cost of connecting existing LT cable to new DG set/ AMF panel using new cable lugs and glands are deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Material and labour for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25m below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5m below normal ground level connected to and including GI strip 32x6mm by means of bolts, nuts and check nuts and washers etc., made of GI and connected to earthing test point and earth dolly all as shown in electric plate No 3 of SSR Pt-I including all necessary earth work, excavation, PCC chamber, chamber cover with handle (PCC 1:2:4) including 40mm dia protection pipe and 20mm dia watering pipe and wire mesh funnel etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Taking out carefully DG set 250 KVA, 3 phase 415 volt from Ahilyabai TP Bldg after removing all nuts, bolts from foundation and disconnecting all electrical cable connection and shifting at outside of the Bldg upto 50m away from the pump house bldg with all sefety arrangement tool and plants complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
