Scrapping:- Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete.

Putty:- Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

Enamel paint:- Painting with synthetic enamel paint (at all height) of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade : One or more coats on old work including removing of the old paint.

Kerb stone paint:- Painting of Kerb stones (synthetic enamel paint) of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade : One or more coats on old work including removing of the old paint. This work involves painting kerb stones as per standards to enhance visiblity and aesthetics. The surface shall be cleaned to remove dirt, dust, and old paint using appropriatev methods such as gentle scrapping. manual wire brushing ensuring no damage to the kerb stone surface proper cleaning ensures smooth and uniform adhesion of paint. the kerb stone sshall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint conforming to IS:2932, over a primer coat of Oil-based primer conforming to IS:109. The primer shall enssure a strong bond between the kerb stone surface and paint. Paint colours shall alternate between yellow and black. The paint shall have a reflective finish for high visiblity, especially under night conditions. The contractor shall ensure even application using brushes, rollers, or spraying equipment avoiding streaks or uneven layers. The quoted rate shall include all costs necessary to complete the work.

Wall painting with premium acrylic emulsion paint of interior grade, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour. Thermoplastic paint:- Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retro- reflective) of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface ncluding cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications.
