The shed shall be fabricated from minimum 1.6 mm thick hot-dip galvanised (GI) sheet or approved equivalent, adequately stiffened with MS/GI angle or flat supports, and securely mounted on the Station Name Board structure. The canopy shall be of suitable dimensions and projection as required at site to provide effective weather protection without obstructing the light distribution. All MS fabricated components shall be properly cleaned and finished with one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of approved aluminium/synthetic enamel paint where galvanization is not provided.
