Repairs to Old and worn out 300 mm dia M.S Rising Main for New V.T station adjacent to Hz Station 2nd [Army Line] at Water Supply Scheme Doodhganga by way of: -

Cleaning of approach passage along the corridor of the 300 mm Dia rising main for New V.T Station adjacent to Hz Station 2nd [Army line] inside the vicinity Filtration Plant Doodhganga Kralpora Infront of Graveyard involves removing / felling of shrubs, trees, bushes and thorny plants for about 100 ft of length for easy access to the leaking point using manual /mechanical means of labour, conventional tools and tackles like mobile cutter etc as required for carrying the job at site.

Earth Excavation for making a trench manually of size 10’ X 6’ X 6’ for exposing the leaking portion of 300 mm dia rising main includes all labour, arrangement of tools and tackles as required for carrying out the job at site.

Dewatering of the excavated area using dewatering pump for removing the water from excavated trench and water to be emptied from the rising main to carry out the welding job at the leaking spot and includes all labour, tools and tackles, fuel etc as required for carrying out the job at site.

Cutting of the damaged/worn out portion of 300 mm dia MS pipe of about 400 mm of length along with damaged 300 mm Dia 10 mm thick MS Flange using oxyacetylene gas cutter, hand cutters & other tools and tackles as required for carrying out the job at site .The Job includes Providing and fitting of New MS pipe/Tail piece of 300 mm Dia and 6 mm thick having length of 400 mm along with Providing and fitting of New 300 mm Dia 10 mm Thick MS flange to be welded with above MS tail Piece using superior quality electrodes of Adore/Adani make to make a perfect joint. The MS flange is to be welded with 400 mm Dia tail piece at one extreme end and other end of MS tail piece is to be welded with existing 300 mm Dia MS Rising main where damaged/worn out portion was cut down using AC/DC welding set, superior quality electrodes preferably of Advani/Adore make in two coats to make a firm joint. Along with providing and fitting of new rubber washers, nuts and bolts as required at the flanged joint for the job. The job also includes cutting of the opening in the 300 mm dia MS rising main using chisels, oxyacetylene gas cutter, tools and tackles as required for draining out/dewatering of water in the rising man using dewatering pump along with allied accessories.

Welding of the opening portion of the rising main after cleaning and drying of the surface with mechanical brush for a length of 2 feet on upper side using superior quality electrodes preferably of Advani/Adore make in two coats to make a firm joint using AC/DC welding set, skilled welder tools and tackles as required for carrying out the job at site. The job carried is to be carried out during Day hours and all arrangements required near leakage spot has to be arranged by the firm on its own. The Job finally includes testing of the repaired portion of rising main on full load for minimum two hours. The job includes all costs on account of tools, tackles, transportation, refreshment, skilled labour and other allied consumables required for carrying out the job at site.
