For all items — Commencement : Within 60 Days of issue of Contract, Completion : On or before 30-SEP-27 — Rate of Supply: 40% qty. (of both the tendered items) is to be supplied within 05 months of placement of Contract in instalments on regular basis. Balance 60% qty (of both the tendered items) is to be supplied from 01.04.2027 to 30.09.2027 in instalments on regular basis. This DP/Rate of supply is tentative, which can be suitably modified as per RCF actual production requirements.

Payment Terms

90% payment (excluding Installation, Commissioning & Testing Charges) shall be made on receipt of the items in satisfactory condition, against Receipted Challan duly signed by Gazetted Depot Officer and Inspection Certificate issued by the nominated Inspection Agency. Balance 10% payment (alongwith Installation, Commissioning & Testing Charges) shall be made after successful Installation, Commissioning & Testing of the equipment by firm on the basis of Certificate given by Dy.CME of the concerned Shop of RCF.

Statutory Variation Clause

Statutory Variation in taxes and duties, or fresh imposition of taxes and duties by State/ Central Governments in respect of the items stipulated in the contract (and not the raw materials thereof), within the original delivery period stipulated in the contract, or last unconditionally extended delivery period shall be to Railways' account. Only such variation shall be admissible which takes place after the submission of bid. No claim on account of statutory variation in respect of existing tax/duty will be accepted unless the tenderer has clearly indicated in his offer the rate of tax/duty considered in his quoted rate. No claim on account of statutory variation shall be admissible on account of misclassification by the supplier/ contractor.

Option Clause

Applicable as per Clause No. 2.14 of Bid Document Version 14.0 OR latest with all corrigendum/amendments if any issued before opening of tender. However, the purchaser shall be entitled to vary the order quantity upto + 30% anytime within the delivery period (including extended delivery period) on the same terms and conditions. The increase in quantity with respect to the tender quantity can be done even at the time of ordering and the tenderer shall be bound to accept the quantity so ordered on the basis of his original offer. The purchaser shall be entitled to exercise +30% option clause in one or more than one installment as long as the total variation in quantity does not exceed the limit of 30% of ordered quantity.
