HIGH PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT FOR CONDUCTING MAINT MELA/FAIR COVERING DAY TO DAY B/R AND E/M PETTY REPAIR AND HIGH RELIABILITY ELECTRICAL SERVICES, WELCOME SERVICES FOR RESIDENTIAL QTR ETC IN PRAYAG AND TRIVENI VIHAR IN OLD CANT PRJ

Dismantling brick/ concret tiles any size incl demolition of mud fuska in roofs any thickness and in any position and leaping over roof terrace ,removing the demolished material to a distance exc 250 m & n exc 500 m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above starting point, etc incl existing roof treatment of any thickness, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in roof padding and finishing the surface fair & even, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 20mm thick screed bed or bedding layer of cement mortar 1:4 over roof slab mixed with water proofing compound (WPC to be measured and paid separately), finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of roof including cleaning the surfaces by using wire brush/ pressure hose and applying high performance polyurethene liquid membrane waterproofing coating in two coats @ 1.5 Kg/Sqm/ 2 coats with spray/ brush applied, with an elongation of 300% to 700% and tensile strength of not less than 3 N/Sqmm as per ASTM D412 and ASTM D2370, crack bridging ability of 3.5mm as per ASTM C1305, shore a hardness of not less than 60 as per ASTM D2240. The item includes applying epoxy primer @ 0.15Kg/Sqm and a geotextile of 40 GSM to be applied over first coat while first coat is still wet, complete as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) The contractor shall submit a guarantee of 10 years the date of completion of work for waterproofing treatment alongwith manufacturer's guarantee. The amount of Rs. 40 (Rupees Forty) per Sqm and min of Rs. 4000/- for waterproofing treatment shall be withheld from contractor's in the final bill till the expiry of guarantee period. The contractor at his own option may furnish fixed deposit receipt pledged in favour of GE against guarantee money. (ii). The water proofing shall be carried out by authorized applicator of manufacturer. The name of applicator shall be got approved from GE before commencement of work. (iii) Materials shall be procured from manufacturer/authorized dealer only and original purchase voucher for the full quantity of material shall be procured by the contractor. (iv). The contractor shall submit, ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ (MOU) with only one manufacturer mentioned in the contract before start of water proofing work and same shall be approved by GE.

Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulder Masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, pillars etc., complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Brick work with subclass ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in 1: 4 complete all as specified and directd.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 5 mm thick on ceiling surfaces in cement mortar 1:3 finished even & fair complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 10 mm thick on other than fair faces of walls of brick work or stone surfaces in cement mortar 1:6 compound finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of walls of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 with mixing water proofing compound finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (i) Water proofing compound shall be measured & paid seprately. (ii) Plastering to be executed upto 10 mtr height, necessary scaffolding, props, jacks, shuttering and ladder shall be provided by the contractor in his own arrangement and the same is included in unit rates quoted. Green cloth shall be provided all around the work site for any position/height with all safety precaution (i.e. Safety Jacket, Safety Shoes, Safety Masks, Safety Helmet, Safety harness, Safety Goggles etc) Without safety precaution this work will not be commenced as decided by Engineer-in- Charge/ by GE (East) Prayagraj. NO extra cost shall be paid for such precaution. Such precaution shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
