Sprinkling of water inside Harbour area (outside the Harbour in case of emergency) of the Port by deploying 10 KL and above Capacity Mechanically Operated Water Tankers having provision of suitable hose pipe, nozzle system, 4" dia Slotted pipe sprinkler firmly fixed at rear end of the tanker to sprinkle water over the designated areas in 2 (two) shifts i.e. 16 hours(06:00 AM to 10:00 PM) as and when required for a period of 1 (one) year including deployment of water tankers, drivers, cleaners/helpers, fuel, lubricants, cost of pump set, operation & maintenance of all vehicles/machineries, all taxes, Cess, T&P, Port entry fees etc. but excluding GST which can be claimed by the firm alongwith their invoice etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer in charge.
N.B: (1) Water will be provided from different water vats/sources located inside/outside the Port area free of cost. (2) Water Tankers must have approved Fitness & Regd. Certificate, Insurance,etc and should be in good running condition. (3) All tanker Drivers must have their own Valid Driving License. . (4) Minimum 6 Nos. of Tankers are to be deployed including one tanker for standby purpose. Out of 6 (six) tankers; one tanker must have installed with a 3 HP & above capacity Diesel Pump and having at least 15m of suction and delivery pipes. (5) Required capacity water pumps are to be installed by the firm near water vats in order to fill the tankers quickly. All expenses are to be borne by Firm. (6) Drivers, helpers/cleaners & experienced supervisors for monitoring the work are to be deployed by the firm on shift wise. All expenses are to be borne by the firm. (7) For petty maintenance, repair of pump set; one Pump Mechanic having knowledge about rpair/maintenance of pump is to be deployed at site. (8) The vehicles used for sprinkling of water shall be provided with GPS system for proper monitoring purpose.
