Demolition of brick work above G.L. up to all height including stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of un-serviceable materials within all lead and lifts a)In cement mortar.

Dismantling roofing including ridges, hips, wallleys, gutters etc. stacking the serviceable materials and disposal of un-serviceable materials within all lead and lifts. a)G.I. Sheet roofing

Dismantling steel work up to span of 10 mtrs and height of 5 mtrs in built up sectiobnal in angles, tees, flats and channels including all gusset plates, bolts, nuts, beading etc and/stacking the materials within all lead and lifts. a) Including dismembering.

Cutting in earth work and disposal of excavated earth upto the site as required by MC Shimla all lead and lift.

Excavation in foundation, trenches etc. in all kinds of earth workincluding spade work, pick work, blasting work, jumper work and chiseling and doing work in saturated soil including storing, strutting and pumping or boiling on water (surface and sub-soil Water) up to any depth wedging out of rock etc. up to all lead and lifts exacts including stacking the excavated material clear from the edge of the excavation as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge and then returning the stacked soil in 15 cm. layers when required into plinths and sides of foundations etc. consolidating each depositing layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth including stacking of serviceable materials within all lead and lifts as approved by MC Shimla.

Filling in plinth with sand under floors including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing complete

Providing form work with steel plates 3.15mm. thick welded with angle iron in frame 30x30x5mm. so as to give a fair finish including centering, shuttering, strutting and propping etc. with wooden battens and ballies, height of propping and centering below supporting floor to ceiling not exceeding 4 Mtrs. and removal of the same for insitu-reinforced concrete & plain concrete work in: a) Foundation, footings basis of columns etc. and mass concrete.

b )Flat surfaces such as sofits of suspended floors, roofs, landings and the llime, floors etc. upto 200mm. in thicknes.

c) Vertical surfaces such as walls(any thickness) partitions and the like including attached pilasters buttresses, plinth and string cources and the like.

Half brick masonry(2nd Class) in common burnt clay building bricks in cement mortar 1:3 ( 1 cement: 3 sand) in super-structure above plith level up to all heights a)Bricks will be supplied free of cost at site.

b) Bricks will be arranged by the contractor.

Stone filling behind retaining wall.

Providing and fixing 0.60mm thick pre-painted steel sheet in roofing with hot dipped metallic zinc coated sheet with top coat of regular modified polyester (RNP) organic coating of 20 microns over 5 microns primer coating to back coat of polyster of 5 microns over 5 microns primer coating including fixing with pre-painted iron J or L hooks, bolts and nuts 6mm dia metre with pre-painted limpet and rubber washers complete with all accessories as required as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge a)Sheets will be supplied free of cost at site

b) Sheet will be arranged by the contractor.

Providing and fixing ridges or hips 60 cm overall with 0.60mm thick pre-painted steel sheets in roofing with hot dipped metallic zinc coated sheets with top coat of regular modified polyester organic coating of 20 microns over 5 microns primer coating + back coat of polyester of 5 microns over 5 microns primer coating including fixing with pre-painted iron J or L hooks, bolts & nuts 6mm dia & pre-painted G.I. limpet and bitumen washers complete with all accessories as required as per the direction of Engineer in Charges.

Providing and fixing M.S.BP Sheet 1.66mm to 2mm thick in eaves board/facia/soffits/ceiling including cutting, fixing and welding to steel roof members and applying a coat of red lead primer complete as per the instruction of Engineer-in-charge (Base members of steel work shall be measured & paid separtely).

.Providing and fixing corrugated polycarbonated transparent sheet 3mm thick in roofing with galvanized J or L hooks bolts kand nuts with G.I Limpet and bitumen ruber washer complete with all accessories as required as per direction of Engineeer-on-Charge

Providing and fixing fly proof Galvanized M.S. wire gauge of 1.59 guage designation 85g with wire of dia 0.56 mm to windows and clerestory windows including 20x5mm M.S. flat beading welded rigidly s per direction of Engineer-iin-Charge.

Steel work welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of red lead paint: a) In beams, joists, channels, angles, tees flats with connecting Steel work plates or angle cleats as main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters, purlins connected to common rafters and the like. a)Steel to be supplied free of cost at site of work.

Painting two coats (excluding priming coat) on new steel and other metal surface with enamel paint to give an even shade including cleaning the surface of dirt, dust and other foreign matter, sand papering and stopping . a) Enamel paint other than white.

15mm Cement plaster in single coat on the Rough/Fair side of brick/ concrete/ stone walls for interior plastering including arises, internal rounded angles, chamfers and/or rounded angles not 80mm in girth and finished even and smooth up to all heights including all lead & lifts : a) Cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement:3 sand).

6mm cement plaster to ceiling: a) In Cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement:3 sand).

Extra for plastering on ceilings and soffits of stairs upto floor two level instead of plastering on walls.

Applying a coat of hot bitumen (mexphalt 80/100 or equivalent) using 1.70 kg. per square metre on damp proof course after cleaning the surface with a piece of cloth lightly soaked with kerosene oil.
