Excavating trenches of required width by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator / manual means) for pipes, cables etc., for depth upto 1.5m in all kinds of soil including excavation for sockets, dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, getting out the excavated soil and then refilling the soil as required in layers not exceeding 200mm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering etc., and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed within a lead of 50m, (Disposed soil to be levelled by breaking clods, if any and neatly dressed), etc., all complete as per specification.

Providing and laying in position of plain cement concrete using hard granite broken stone for all insitu levelling courses in foundations, floor, roof screeding, encasing pipes, etc., including mechanical mixing, ramming, compaction, leveling, curing, dewatering, if any including the cost of formwork etc., all complete as per specifications.

Providing, hoisting and fixing in position of following sizes of precast slabs in cement concrete 1 : 1.5 : 3 using hard broken stones of maximum size 20mm finished smooth of various sizes and patterns including necessary formwork and moulds, mechanical mixing, finishing the exposed surface, curing, fixing at all levels, grouting with CM / Cement grout wherever required, etc., all complete excluding cost of reinforcement which will be measured separately under relevant item as per specifications and as direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, cutting, bending, placing and binding steel reinforcement using TMT bars of Fe-500D grade in all reinforced cement concrete works including cutting, bending, fixing, tieing in position with 1.6 mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire, cost of cover blocks in C.M 1:2, etc., complete as per specifications and drawings. Important Note: The required quantity of steel reinforcement as mentioned in the schedule should be procured by the contractor only of SAIL, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (VIZAG), TATA Steel & JINDAL from authorised dealers which shall conform to IS: 1786 (Latest Edition).
Providing and constructing 110mm thick brick work in Cement Mortar 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Coarse sand) for partition / Kerb walls using well burnt chamber bricks / FALG Bricks of approved quality including scaffolding, curing etc., complete all as per specifications.
Plastering 12mm thick with polymer modified cement mortar of ratio 1:4 (1 part of cement : 4 parts of sand) including adding admixtures of make MC Bauchemie (Naufufill-SBR) or FOSROC (Nitobond SBR) or FAB Chemical (Mixbond SBR) or Bostik (Boscocem 475) in recommended proportion, applying SBR based bond coat of approved make, scaffolding, curing and forming grooves wherever necessary, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-inCharge. Note:- 1) The contractor shall commence the plastering work after plugging the inlet and dewatering of sewage to adjacent chambers, which will be paid separately under relevant item. 2) Mixing ratio of chemicals, consumption and application shall be as per manufacturer specification.
Plastering with Cement Mortar 1:5, 12mm thick for brickwork / Concrete on its external faces at all lifts including scaffolding, curing and forming grooves wherever necessary all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-incharge. [Note: 6mm premium glass fibre of make Dugar & Co or Recron shall be mixed with Cement @ 60 gms of glass fibre per 50kgs of cement]
Plastering with Cement Mortar 1:5, 12mm thick for brickwork / Concrete on its internal faces at all lifts including scaffolding, curing and forming grooves wherever necessary all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-incharge. [Note: 6mm premium glass fibre of make Dugar & Co or Recron shall be mixed with Cement @ 60 gms of glass fibre per 50kgs of cement]
Providing and fixing PVC Nahani trap of approved make conforming to the relevant IS code, heavy quality of self cleaning design with 125mm dia. round (or) 125mm square PVC grating with perforated holes on top, including chipping the existing floor concrete, exposing the damaged Nahani trap, removing the damaged Nahani trap, fixing new Nahani trap, embedding in cement concrete 1:2:4, forming circular holes by providing and fixing 110mm OD PVC pipes of required height upto floor level, jointing the outlet pipe, leveling and rendering smooth, making good the floor and wall etc., complete as per specifications. Note: Rate shall be inclusive of cost of PVC pipe and embedding PCC.
Replacing the following sizes of existing damaged PVC pipes with new PVC pipe of 10 Kg. per sq.cm pressure pipe confirming to IS 4985 of approved make bearing ISI marking including all types of specials, cutting and removing the damaged portion of the existing PVC line, replacing new PVC pipe for flush tank & kitchen waste line with suitable jointing compounds, necessary opening/ chasing of the wall, flooring, etc., without interrupting the regular water supply, cost of necessary GI clamps, screws, teakwood plugs, packing pieces, restoring the same after completing the job to its original condition etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and constructing GULLY CHAMBER of internal finished size 300 x 300mm including providing, supplying and fixing 150 x 150mm (±10mm) PVC Gully trap with PVC grating at top of approved make including excavation in all types of soils, backfilling, embedding the trap in plain cement concrete 1:4.5:8 using 40mm size granite aggregates and constructing the chamber above the embedded PVC with 110mm thick (plus or minus 5mm) bricks in Cement Mortar 1:5 with well burnt stock bricks, plastering over both internal and external faces of brick work with Cement Mortar 1:3; 12mm thick finished smooth with a floating coat of neat cement on both faces, providing and fixing 400 x 400 x 25mm precast slab in reinforced cement concrete of 1:2:4 using 12mm and below hard broken granite stones including cost of gully trap, chamber, dismantling the existing gully trap etc., all complete as per specification.
Replacing the damaged CI soil waste pipe by supplying, laying and fixing of PVC pipe lines laid, embedded under floor slab and fixed to walls wherever required using SWR uPVC pipes - Type B (suitable for soil and waste discharge system having wall thickness of minimum 3.2 to maximum 3.8mm) conforming to IS:13592 - latest edition with ISI mark of approved make and PVC pasting type or Ring type specials such as door bends, door tees and cowls etc., heavy quality for soil waste or vent or antisyphonage PVC pipe including removing the damaged CI pipe, chipping/removing the embedded pipe if any, fixing the new PVC pipe with suitable clamps over Teak Wood packing pieces, restoring the same to its original condition, disposal of debris within a initial lead, stacking of retrieved CI pipes at GSO stores etc., all complete as per specification and by the Engineer-in-charge.

Labour charges for cleaning the waste water pipe / soil pipe line shaft by removing the unwanted refuses, debris if any, cobwebs, removing vegetation growth and packing water supply line / waste water line by using CM 1:5, etc., all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
Disposal of surplus excavated earth / Debris by collecting, loading, transporting by mechanical means and unloading them at places as shown by the Department within a lead specified below and levelling, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1) The rates in respect of this item are applicable for the NET Quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of soil and @ 50% in respect of rock from the corresponding stack / truck measurements. 2) The earth shall be dumped well inside the dumping yard and not over approach pathway road.
Exceeding 1 Km but not exceeding 2 Kms
Collection and conveyance of Sewage sludge's settled in sewer lines, manhole chambers and individual / dedicated sewage collection tanks at various locations by using sewage lorry of capacity is not less than 5000 litres per trip including disposing at lift stations, cost of men, materials, machineries, suitable safety gears as required for this work, etc., all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. [Note: Suitable precautions shall be taken while collection and disposal of sewage sludge to avoid asphyxiation.]
Levelling the garbage and dumping yard or as and when required by using mechanical means like JCB including clearing and levelling the chamber area, loading & unloading of excess soil in Vehicles for Conveying if required, etc., including cost of fuel, operator, etc., all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
Dismantling Plain cement concrete/Brick bat coba at all lifts including clearing and depositing the same with a distance of 100 metres as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Dismantling Brick work in cement mortar at all lifts including clearing and depositing the debris within a distance of 100 metres all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Dismantling of old plastering / skirting including raking out the joints, cleaning the surface for plastering, disposal of debris within a initial lead of 50m, etc., all complete.
