SPECIAL REPAIR TO ROADS IN DEPOT AREA AND CENTRAL INSTITUTIONS AT NARANGI UNDER GE NARANGI

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area not exceeding 400sqm and depth exceeding 50mm but not exceeding 100mm complete all as specified and directed.

Screening road metal, Chipping etc on the site of the work when specially ordered, including removing screened materials clear of screen and stacking in separate heaps for measuring complete all as specified and directed.

Materials and labour for 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size) of granite, trap or basalt, spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber required with 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller all as specified.

All as per item No 03 here in before but except materials complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Material obtained from item No 03.00 here in after shall be used.

Material and labour for preparation of unsurfaced WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags or compressed air to remove all loose, dirt, etc. and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer (Paving bitumen of grade VG-10) @ 10 Kg per 10Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for repair to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) and applying priming coat using paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 10 Kg/10Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags or compressed air to remove all loose, dirt, etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (Paving bitumen VG 10 Grade) @ 5 Kg per 10Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for open graded premixed carpeting 40 mm thick using waste plastic( 8 % by weight of bitumen) coated aggregates and bituminous binder of grade VG-30 as per IRC SP 98 2013. The agreegates for bituminous carpet 40mm thick open graded shall be composed of 13.2 mm graded size @0.36 cum per 10 sqm and 11.2 mm graded aggregate size @ 0.18 cum per 10 sqm, preheating aggregates to the required temperature and mixing with 2.336 Kg shredded plastic ( 8% waste processed plastic by weight shall be used for coating aggregate after heating ) and finally mixing with bituminous binder @ 26.864 per 10 sqm (i.e. 92% bitumen) and all as per IRC SP 98 2013, laying to required camber and gradient and rolling and finishing complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cum of sand mixed with 6.8 Kg of bitumen grade VG-30 applied and rolled to a uniform smooth surface with 8 to 10 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for repair to pot holes, not exc. 1 Sqm each and depth exceeding 30mm and not exceeding 60mm, including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, and making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer(using paving bitumen grade VG-10) @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in bituminous premixed carpet 30mm consolidated thickness, with 0.405 cum of stone chippings mixed with 21.90 Kg of binder (paving bitumen grade VG-30) and sealed with bitumen @ 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm binded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippling 0.3mm size and well rammed (paving bitumen VG-30) and rolled to a uniform smooth surface using 8 to 10 tonne power roller (including supply of premix binder and chippings) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for providing premix bituminous macadam with binder (paving bitumen grade VG-30) content @ 4 % by weight of total mix, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber of thickness not more than 75mm complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for painting lines,dashes,arrows, letters, zebra crossing etc. on roads using thermo plastic road marking paint 2.5mm uniform thickness finished with glass beads (MORTH Grade) white or yellow colour with the help of road marking machine including cleaning the surface thoroughly and removing all dirt dust complete all as specified and directed.
