REPAIR AND MAINT OF VCB HT PANELS , TRANSFORMERS AND CONNECTED E/M WORKS UNDER GE(AF) ADM AREA, AGRA

Taking out Transformer from its Position from any location under AF Stn Agra for repair /servicing/ rewinding of capacity 63 to 200 KVA , 11/ 0.433 Volts disconnecting /opening HV, LV Electrical connections, earthing connections complete all as specified and directed along with following other works :- (a) Transportation of transformer to civil workshop at AF Stn to workshop at Agra and back to site by making necessary arrangements of T&P (crane, recovery, vehicle, tripoid to be arranged by firm ) as required at site. (b) Opening of transformer top cover by extraction ,removing of serviceable - unserviceable nuts bolts and washers etc. (c) Draining out of transformer oil and keeping in safe custody for reuse (d) Lifting primary coil (HT) and secondary coil (LT) , dismantaling of transformer complete part by part carefully. (e) Refilling topping up of transformer oil after dehyderation and filteration in transformer. (f) Reassembeling the transformer complete with all existing serviceable parts, and new parts as ordered . (g) Reinstall the Transformer at site in position as directed after repair connecting HV, LV electrical connections, earthing connections and testing to entire satisfaction on load . (h) Replacement of userviceable parts like; Bush insulator, brass studs, cork gasket, breather assembly, tap changer, rewinding , reinsulation of Primary and secondary coil with copper winding wire, dehyderation and filteration of transformer oil etc shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate Item of schedule. (j) Renewal of adequate size Nut, bolts & washers of transformer top cover shall deemed to be included in UNIT RATE QUOTED.

All as per Srl Item No -01 here-in-before but capacity of transformer 250 KVA to 400 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for rewinding HT coil of 11/ 0.433 KV Transformer any capacity using proper size DPC copper wire and insulation material , heating coils in heat chamber after rewinding including taking out carefully burnt unserviceable copper winding of coils complete all as specified and directed.

Re-insulation of LT coil of transformer of any capacity using proper size paper insulation material to form DPC Copper wire and insulation material suitable for HT 11 KV transformer complete all as specified and directed. [Note : Item shall be measured only where re-insulation of copper wire is required].

Supply & filling up of transformer oil conforming to IS -335 of 1993 as in topping up / replacement up to desired level of transformer oil capacity complete all as specified and as directed. [Note: Dielectric strength of oil should not be less than 42 KV/cm complete all as specified and directed.

Dehydration and filtration of existing transformer oil of transformers capacity ranging from 63 KVA to 3.15 MVA ( 33 KV System step down to 33/11 KV and 11 KV System step down to 11/0.433 KV) on site at different locations without disturbing the power supply system with filtration machine and heating system in order to achieve Di-electric strength of oil 55KV minimum at 2.5 mm gap complete all as specified and as directed.

Servicing to transformer at site of capacity 63 KVA to 315 KVA installed on Plinth / Pole mounted structure by opening top cover & replacing unserviceable spares / components of transformer ,without lifting core assembely reassembling after repair & testing complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) The quoted rates by the contractor includes for fixing the serviceable parts against unsv parts. (ii) The new replaced parts shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items of Sch. A as "Supply only"

M & L for preparation of old painted steel or iron surfaces of transformer 11/0.433 Volts capacity by scrapping with steel wire brush/ scrapper emery paper etc and applying two coats of synthetic enamel smoke grey paint over a coat or red oxide primer (painting shall be done by spray machine) including writing of SM No, MES No etc, at prominent place/ location of transformer with black synthetic enamel thick paint in white back ground complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of bushes/small plants upto root level around and surroundings areas E/M installations (i.e.Two Pole/ Four structures, outdoor-substation yards & Misc E/M installations etc) including spraying of chemical for anti-vegetation growth as approved, surface dressing n.exc 15 cm deep and removing debris to a distance n.exc 50m complete all as directed.

M & L for shifting of transformers 11/ 0.433 KV installed on 2 pole/PCC plateform/ indoor/ outdoor from one sub stn to another sub stn upto distance 3 Km incl disconnecting elect connection LT/HT side re-installation at site and connect LT/HT connection, commissioning & testing complete all as directied for the following capacities:-

M & L for shifting of transformer 11/ 0.433 KV of capacity 500 KVA Trolley Mounted from Main Power house to required location at the AF station incl. making all HT/ LT electric connections and disconnectiong all HT / LT connections of faulty transformer of any capacity and restore the electric supply of affected area complete all as specified and directed.

Repair/ servicing of HT VCB/ RMU 630/400 amps of any make by replacing defective/ worn out parts, adjustment of gap for smooth operation all as detail below:- (a) Cleaning of VCB with air blower and removing dust particles. (b) Cleaning of insulating places of VCB by using CTC/ CRC/ Thinner as required and recommended. (c) Checking the arcing contact gap of vacuum interrupter if gap exceeds the permissible limit, adjust as recommended. (d) Cleaning the main contacts to remove carbon or any other unwanted particles if visible. (e) Dismantling and cleaning the insulated surfaces and arc barrier with CTC and CRC. (f) Checking repair/ replacement of all electric wiring for electrical/ manual operation of panel including measuring IR value. (g) Checking all nuts, bolts, springs, levers, latches, connectors etc and adjustment as required. (h) Recording IR values of CTs and PTs. (j) Cleaning of bus bar spouts. (k) Checking of all moving parts for proper functioning of VCBs and adjustment as per manufacturer recommendations. Make of VCBs :- Alstom/ CG/ Areva or equivalent. Note:- (i) The quoted rates by the contractor includes for fixing the serviceable parts against unsv parts. (ii) The new replaced parts shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items of BOQ as "Supply only".

Disconnect and taking out the Numeric/ Microprocessor based relay/IDMT relay of any type of any Make from 11 KV HT panel, cleaning the contacts, calibrating the relay by conducting secondary injection tests, checking of current transformer, rectification of defects in control wiring for proper tripping of circuit breakers through CTs and relay and tripping coils, adjustment/setting to plug and time multiplier settings of the relay to achieve the descrimination in tripping, tune/synchronise upstream breaker relay settings, re-installation of relay, testing & commissioning etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The Contractor has to arrange necessary testing Kits, testing equipments, tools etc and shall also submit detailed test reports, panel wise. (b) Furan Analysis of Oil Sample. (c) Full oil test as per IS 1866 (BDV, PPM, Resistivity, Tan Delta, Flash Point, Sludge, Viscosity). OFFLINE TEST:- (a) DIRANA Test- Moisture & Di- Electric. (b) Capacitance and Tan Delta for winding. (c) Ratio Test ( at all taps).Magneting current (at all taps) (d) Magnetic balance Test. (e) IR & PI test (Main transformer), insulation resistance- Between core, frame & tank (if connection provided externally) (f) Short circuit current and Impedence Measurement with controlled voltage. (g) Winding resistance test (all taps). (h) SFRA Test. (j) Degree of Polymerization test on paper samples. (k) Magnetizing current ( at all taps).

ON LINE TEST:- (i) Noise Level Test. (ii) Thermography Test. (iii) Vibration.(iv) Partial Discharge. Note:- (i) Actual Test results/ reports of all checked parameters from authorised OEM i.e Crompton Greaves shall be submitted in original to HQ CWE (AF) Agra through GE (AF) Adm Area. (ii) All required T & P at site, to and fro fare of testing team, manpower, Lodging, Boarding, idling charges due to any cause, electricity, water sanitation and food etc shall be provided by contractor and its rates shall be deemed included in quoted rates.
