Replacement of old parts of 15 ton overhead traverse crane by way of dismantling, disconnecting all power supply connections of crane, replacement of all eroded, damaged HRC fuses of main electric control unit of 415 V supply, replacement of overheated and damaged complete contact kit of hoisting and LT and CT contactors, all damaged thimbles and leads. Providing and laying of new cable trailing rope way out of steel wire rope 6 mm nominal size (30 mt approx..) stretched/clamped at extreme ends for trailing of cables without over sacking/entangling. Providing and fitting in position of cable hangers at specified regular spacing of 1.5 mtr for respective span,replacement of 3 core 4 mm sq. cable about 50 mtr in travelling and connecting lead for motor of crane in place of damaged/burnt cable, replacement of push button pendant and 63 Amp TPN with Box.Dismounting of 10 HP three phase induction motor of hoist, providing and fitting of new bearings at driving and non-driving end.Overhauling of 03 No. sLT and CT gear motors of rating 2 HP each(i.e.,01 no.2 HP motor for CT and 02 Nos.2HP motors for LT travel) by way of dismounting motors to floor shifting to workshop, replacement of damaged bearing of gear shaft, damaged Gears, motor bearing. Back shifting and Fitting motor at their place. Reconditioning of gear box by way of dismantling, checking, cleaning of the gear box housing/parts with kerosene oil/diesel, repairing/reconditioning the main end counter shaft at worn-out portion of gears, machining, turning, polishing the shaft and gear teeth to the required specified parameters. Replacement of 2 No. worn-out helical gears as per the actual parameter and repairs/reconditioning of all other helical gears for all required specifications, assembling gear box and filling of gear oil to required level. Providing and fitting new bearings of drive shaft and driven shaft and checking condition of other bearings and replacing if anyone found damage as per sample Providing/fitting of new nuts and bolts in place of damaged/eroded ones.Overhauling of LT and CT drives of crane by way of dismantling of coupling pullies of transverse and longitudinal and driving shafts of moving tracks, cleaning, greasing and oiling, aligning and leveling each driving shaft with providing/fitting of base frame packings for aligning, leveling it in proper accuracy. Replacement of all coupling bolts, nuts, flanges and pullies whichever found damaged. Also dressing of steel wire rope drum, checking, cleaning, application of protective compound all along the length of steel wire rope, fixing rope on drum with new fixtures/clamps. Also repairing to its lifting hook.Reconditioning of both E.O.T crane rails by way of cleaning entire rails on both sides with wire brush, sand papers etc. Alignment of existing rails by way of grinding, welding the down rails with welding electrodes conforming to IS specifications and providing/fixing in position of packing pads of mild steel wherever required to align/level the rail track. Job also includes scrubbing and grinding the welded joints to make the surface smooth and even for trouble free operation of the crane. Restoration of the lifting load braking system of Two Nos brake already installed, one Electromagnetic brake and other Hydraulic Brake of the crane by dismantling, checking, adjusting, replacement of worn-out moving parts including damaged brake leather and connected nuts and bolts, tension springs whichever found defected and setting right the brake system of the crane. repair to the thruster of hydraulic brake Topping up/ complete filling of oil to the requisite level. Providing /fabrication of new lifting sling fabricated out of 16mm dia steel wire rope 2.5 mtr, folded at both ends and rigidly clamped with 03 no’s U clamp at each end to hold hooks to lift Load. Providing of two nos. D-locks of steel having provision to hold load and lock with bolt and nut to tie load with new sling wire. Complete job includes cost of labor, material and hire charges of tools and tackles.Testing of the crane on load and no-load conditions.
