REPAIR TO CHARPOY GI PIPE WITH PLYTOP AND CONVERSION OF CHARPOY GI NEWAR INTO PLYTOP UNDER GE (EAST) JALANDHAR CANTT

CHARPOY GI PIPE (Drg No. FD-220) Matrial and labour for reweaving of charpoy with nylon newar white, 50 to 55mm wide closely woven with minimum 13 & 33 bend on both sides, weight of newar per charpoy shall be 1.50 Kg to 1.60 Kg weaving and tightening complete all as specified and shown on drg including taking down/ removing of old nylon newar & tightening of all components of Charpoy GI pipe as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Make: USHA/ Evershine. Note: After repairs, the charpoy shall be stacked inside or outside the building in accountable stacks.

Material and labour for removing of old unserviceable/broken newar from Charpoy GI pipe and supplying of and fixing the plywood BWR type BB ISI marked of size 1990mmX900mm,12mm thick and providing MS flat iron 40mmX5mm thick,the plywood and flat iron shall be fixed to GI pipe with self drilling screw 5.5mmX55mm (06 Nos nuts and bolts on long rails and 4 nos on nuts and bolts on short rails with suitable washers)each flat iron shall be fixed to plywood from bottom side with 02 nos screw of suitable size and length as approved by GE by drilling the holes in flat iron complete all as specified the exposed surface of flat iron shall be painted with two coats of synthetics enamel paint of black over a coat of red oxide all as shown on drgs. Make of plywood : (Duraply/ Century/ Archid ply/ Archid Board/ Durian/ Mysore Chip Board Ltd) Note: The modofication of charpoy shall be carriedout as per sample of charpoy kept in furniture yard BSO (E) JRC

Removing of old/ broken threaded long rail from charpoy GI and supply & fix new long rail made of GI tubing 32mm bore Medium grade ISI marked both ends threaded complete all as specified and as shown on Drg No. FD-220. Make of pipe : TT Swastic/ Jindal/ Ravindra.

Removing of unserviceable short rail from charpoy GI and fixing of short rail made from long rail obtained from srl item No.3.00 above(1 x long rail coverted in to 1 No of short rail) both ends threaded complete all as specified and as shown on Drg No. FD-220

Removal of old/ broken threaded leg from charpoy GI and fixing of leg made from old short rail obatined from Item No 4.00 above duly threaded one side complete all as specified and as shown on Drg No. FD-220.

Removal of old/ broken elbow 32mm bore three ways from charpoy GI and supply and fix new elbow three way medium grade ISI marked suitable for 32mm bore GI pipe complete all as shown on Drg No. FD-220. Make - Vimco/RI ISI Marked

Removal of old/ unserviceable check nut from charpoy GI and supply and fixing new check nuts suitable for 32mm bore GI pipe and fixing to position complete all as specified and as shown on Drg No. FD-220. Make - Vimco/RI ISI Marked
