Special Repairs to Poosaripatty Branch Canal from L.S 0/000 km to 0/250 km

Dismantling Plain cement concrete clearing away and carefully stacking the materials in specified area useful for reuse for any thickness of structures specified including all leads and lifts etc,. complete complying with technical specification and as directed by the Departmental officers.

Earth work excavation and deposting on bank with in initial lead of 10m and initial lift of 2m in Hard stiff clay stiff black cotton hard red earth shales murram gravel stoney earth and earth mixed will small size boulders and conveying the same for filling the side slopes of the canal etc., complete as per standard spification as directed by the Departmental officers.

Providing and placing Plain Cement concrete M 10 grade using crusher broken hard coarse aggregates and the maximum nominal size of coarse aggregate of 40mm downgraded confirming to IS specified grading ( toachieve the specified characteristic strength of 15 N/mm2 at 28 days) and mixing the ingredients in approved mixer including dewatering by bailing/pumping wherever necessary laying the concrete in layers and in bays with all leads and lifts, vibrating, compacting and finishing the surface watering, curing for various depth and height below and above ground level so as to attain the profile and strength as per the direction of the departmental officers and complying with standard specification.

Supplying and erecting centering for sides and soffits including necessary supports and strutting upto 3.29 M height for plane surfaces as detailed below in all floors with all cross bracings using Mild Steel sheets of size 90 x 60 cm and 10 BG stiffened with welded Mild Steel angle of size 25mm x 25mm x 3 mm for boarding laid over silver oak joists of size 10cm x 6.50 cm spaced at abote 90 cm centre to centre and supported by casurina props of 10cm to 13 cm dia spaced at not more than 75 cm centre to centre etc. complete complying with the standard specificaiton. (Payment for centering shall be given after the concrete is laid) Scaffolding and centering charges for the structural components is including the cost and converyance of all material to the site including all labour charges and incidential charges etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Gravel Backing for sides of erroded canal portion to prepare a uniform sub grade for lining including cost of gravel, conveyence with a lead of 5KMCT including loading unloading, stacking for pre measurements watering and consolidation etc,. Complete complying with technical specification and as directed by the Departmental officers.

Preparation of subgrade (as per technical specification) duly moisture and duly removing the surface irregularities including dewatering and manual laying Plain Cement Concretelining 65mm thick of M15 Grade concrete on canal bed using hard course aggregate with nominal maximum size of 20mm HBGS jelly to IS specified grading and mixing by mixer machine including dewatering by bailing/ pumping wherever necessary laying the concrete on canal bed/haunches/berms of canal manually , providing transverse contraction joint grooves as per technical specifications and water curing of the lining. The sub Grade shall be well prepared, dressed and rolled to true level and specified section to form a firm compacted base for the lining complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
