Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m width and not exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil including Site clearance by Rough excavation , cutting of Herbs / shrubs / jungle for clearing of site required for removing/laying of pipe line complete all as specified and directed. Note : Quoted rates are deemed to be including of Site clearance by Rough excavation /clearing away all grass vegetation, saplings, brushwood, undergrowth, roots and trees not exceeding 30 cm girth (measured one meter above ground level) ,cutting of Herbs / shrubs / jungle for clearing of site required for laying pipe line in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soils) n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

S&F ductile iron pressure pipes, class K7, centrifugally cast with spigot and socket ends as per following conforming to IS 8329/2000 with cement mortar lining inside the pipes with outside zinc coating suitable for push-on-joint (rubber gasket D jointing) in any length excluding DI specials as required at site confirming to IS 8329/2000 and all jointing materials and making good for disturbed surfaces of roads, path ways etc while laying the pipe line at site, site clearance for the route of pipe line, welding, cutting the existing CI/DI/MS pipe line of any size up to 400 mm dia for inserting branch connections etc complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes:- Notes:- (a) Quoted rates are deemed to be inclusive of Lead Joints / D-Joints / push on joint required during laying of pipes only DI specials will be measured and paid separately under relevant items. (b) The contractor is responsible for obtaining the approval from Police Department for Traffic Diversion and related works if required in consultation with the MES department if required. (c) Contractor is responsible for repair/replacement of any damages to the existing structures, underground HT/LT/OFC Cables etc during the course of execution. (d) CIVIL ROAD CROSSING TO BE DONE AT 2 PLACESS (APPX LENGTH 100 RM). NECESSARY PERMISSION FOR CROSSING ROAD / LAYING OF PIPE FROM GHMC / CANTT BOARD / HMDA / ANY OTHER CIVIL DEPARTMENT INCLUDING NECESSARY FEE IF ANY APPLICABLE IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR. NO CLAIM IN THIS REGARD WILL BE ENTARTAINED DURING EXECUTION STAGE. DEPARTMENT ONLY ASSIST FOR OBTAINING APPROVAL. Quoted rates are deemed to be inclusive of all arrangement required for the above. (e) The approach where DI pipe to be laid also difficult .To reach at site, site clearance also required. Contractor should visit the site to understand the site condition before quoting the rates. No claim regarding site condition will be entertain during execution stage.

S&F DI specials such as bends (any type, radius or angle) tapers any type (Straight, bend, increase, decrease or double socket etc) tee pieces, single 'Y' branch, double branch cross (all sockets, socket and spigots, collars, cap plugs etc up to 150 mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 8 above but for 200 mm bore to 300 mm bore.

Burning out lead joint in position for following sizes of CI/DI pipe, removing old lead complete all as specified and directed :-

Supply and fixing in replacement of DI Double Flange Gate Valve (Soft Sealed) Resilient Seated Soft Sealing gate valves( Sluice valves raising type) with body bonnet of ductile cast iron of grade GGG-40/SG- 400/15 or GGG-50/SG-500/7 or equivalent grade as per IS 3896 - Part 2- 1985 and subsequent revisions, Wedge fully rubber lined with EPDM Food grade quality and Seals of NBR and the valve should be vacuum tight and 100 % leak proof with face to face dimension as per BS 5163-89/IS 14846-2000/DIN 3202 F 4. and Valves should be electrostatic powder coating both inside and outside pocket less body passage class PN 1.6 including all jointing materials (Gasket, Nut bolts etc) connecting and testing complete all as specified and directed.

Note : Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of making fixing provisions of air release valves in 1500 mm dia DI pipe .

Cutting the existing BT road / Concrete Road of civil authorities (GHMC/Cantt Board/PWD or any other department ) after obtaining permission from appropriate authorities preferably in night times including necessary lighting arrangement by using mechanical means l, depth and width not less than 75 cm for laying of 150 mm dia DI pipe and filling back with excavated soil up to 60 % road portion and 40 % shall be made with cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate incase of concrete road and Bituminous top in case of BT Road complete all as specified and directed. Notes :- (a) The contractor is responsible for obtaining the approval from Police Department for Traffic Diversion and related works if required in consultation with the MES department if required. M&L for Construction of new PCC solid Masonry valve chamber of size 1000 X 1000 X 1200 mm (Internal dimensions) with PCC foundation 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate 150 mm thick 150 mm wide off sets around over 100 mm thick hard core , 200 mm thick PCC solid block walls built in CM 1:6, 50 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 Type B1 coping finished even and smooth, rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar (1:6) finished even and smooth, without using extra cement internally including top of floor including excavation earth work in hard/Dense soil 3 mm thick MS sheet cover fixed on 40 mm X 40 mm X 6 mm thick angle iron frame with hold fasts embedded in PCC coaping with locking arrangement, mild steel handle and painting to steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of primer including disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m etc complete all as specified and directed.
