Tanda head gate I (5’9”x2’9”):- Repair toTanda gate by way ofdismantling mechanical componentsof gate such as worm and worm gear, roller, rack and pinion arrangement. Extracting the gate outside channel grooves imbedded in side concrete walls using long boom crane and manual labour. Carriage of gates and machinery to workshop for repairs using carriage vehicle. Repairs to rack and pinion arrangement by properly cleaning rack from dust and grease. Repairs to the damaged teeth of rack by welding and grinding of tooth. Replacement of pinion gear for converting circular motion to linear motion of rack with same pitch circle and module. Repairs to worm and worm gear by cleaning the teeth from dust and grease. Repairs to tooth of worm gear by welding and grinding of damaged tooth. Replacement and fabrication of worm of the worm gear as per sample. Repairs to the leaf of the gate by straightening on heavy duty hydraulic press, welding at worn out portions of the skin plate with quality MS electrodes. Greasing & oiling of all moving parts using ISI mark standard quality grease for smooth, easy up and down moment of gate. Removal of old paint by sand paper and painting of winch machine and gate with two coats of paint. Shifting back repaired gate and witch machine to site of installation. Reinstallation of the repaired gate at site and checking the up and down moment. The job includes cost of material, changes for skilled manual labour, charges of crane, hire charges of tools and tackles required for the job including labour charges.

Shifting of the gate and winch mechanism to workshop for repairs using manual labour and carriage vehicle. Providing and fabrication of new stem rod/ spindle rod with square threads as per the size. Replacement of two number bearings and repairs to gear and worm mechanism by grinding the teeth. Repairs to the connecting mechanism by providing and replacement of new studs. Repairs to the leaf of the gate by straightening on heavy duty hydraulic press, welding at worn out portions of the skin plate with quality MS electrodes. Servicing of the winch machine by removing the old grease and washing / cleaning with kerosene oil or any other solvent to make it dust free and then greasing & oiling using ISI mark standard quality grease for smooth, easy up and down moment of gate. Removal of old paint by sand paper and painting of both winch machine and gate with one coat of metal primer and two coats of paint. Shifting back repaired gate and witch machine to site of installation. Reinstallation of the repaired gate at site and checking the up and down moment. The job includes cost of material, charges for skilled manual labour, and charges of crane, hire charges of tools and tackles required for the job including labour charges.
