Schedule 'A' Section - I

Excavation in trenches in hard/tense soil not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and getting out including dressing / trimming sides and leveling/grading and ramming of bottom of excavation complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well raming excavated soid in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick, filling back in trenches after cables have been laid and tested, poles, stays, struts have been erected and tested complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50 mtr and depositing at a level n.nexc 1.5 mtr above starting point where directed complete all as specified and directed.

Sand cushioning to UG cable 8cm thick before laying the cable and 15cm above the cable, stretching and testing of cable complete all as specified and directed. Note:(i) Consolidated / Punned sand shall be considered for purpose of payment (ii) Sand shall be same as specified for plastering work and directed.

Burnt bricks sub class 'B' laid flat dry across the cable for cable protection all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing GI pipe, light grade 50 mm bore, ISI Marked for protection to cable along the pole/across road crossing/passing through culvert complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, testing and commissioning of cable LT XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area 25 sq. mm 4 core confirming to IS specification complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate of size 60cmx60cmx6mm thick, burried directly in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below normal ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to equipment by using GI strips of size 25x4mm as earthing lead by means of bolts,nuts,checknut & washers of galvanised iron all as shown in elect plate No.5 of MES schedule and connected to earthing test point all as specified and directed including earth pit of size 30cmx30cmx45cm made of PCC 1:3:6 and PCC 1:2:4 cover, funnel, GI tubing etc. & testing on completion, all as specified. Note : The units rate includes the cost of excavation & earth work in any type of soil charcoal & salt in altemate layers, 20mm GI Pipe (light grade) for watering 40mm GI protection pipe (light grade) funnel wire mesh PCC 1:2:4 type B1 chamber in cement concrete ,50 mm thick precast RCC M-25 ( Design mix) cover duly reinforced with XPM (weight not less than 3 kg /sqm ) and CI frame etc , and including provision of test point , connecting to test point and testing on completion etc, complete all as specified. NOTE : The unit rate include earthing lead and protection pipe upto 7.5 metre from top of earth plate.
