Shock dose Bio-remediation of water body with suitable material available in powder/liquid form of approved make of special waste treating microbes, fungi, and/or plants and their products (such as enzymes) in adequate quantity including initial shock dosing and thereafter maintenance dosing as per manufacturer's specifications to support life without disrupting the aqua ecology and to meet the standards of the lake prescribed by IS:2296 “Class D” as required for propagation of wildlife and fisheries, with further objectives to eradicate all harmful foul smell, mosquito colonies, aquatic weeds, algae, etc. The product used for dosing shall be non-pathogenic, non-hazardous and shall not have any adverse effect on agriculture, aquaculture, humans, animals, and the environment. Labour shall be deployed to complete all operations on an everyday basis such as spraying and dosing, removal of bio sludge generated during treatment, dredging, removal of floating plants and other material like trash, empty bottles, dead leaves/tree branches, polythene bags, etc. from the lake/water body and dispose of the waste from the site complete as per the direction of Engineer in Charge. a)Water body in District Park sec -23Dwarka .Area = 0.60 hectare Note: - 1) Dosing is to be done only if waterbody is in wet condition and payment shall be made on prorata basis.Nothing extra shall be payable on this account. 2) Agency shall maintain seperate register for each waterbody for keeping record of dosing. 3)The rate shall be inclusive of the cost of dosing material, T & P for dosing/spraying, cleaning of the lake, safety arrangements, storage water tanks and all the T&P such as tube, rope, boat, machine, tools, net, etc. if required and manpower required to carry out all the activities. 4)A penalty for default on dosing will be imposed on the agency @Rs. 1000/default and it will also be imposed for not performing dosing or unsatisfactory/improper dosing, in addition to action as per other terms and conditions of the agreement. 5)Paddle Boats needed for dosing as well as physical cleaning shall be procured by contractor only.(Rates are inclusive).

Testing of treated water sample collected from water body as per requisite standards from the EPA recognized Lab all complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.(Once in a month for each waterbody) Note:- a)Tests to be done for Water body in District Park sec -23.
