i). ACB shall comply with standards IS/IEC 60947-1 & 2.
ii). ACB shall have an operational voltage of 690V AC, rated insulation voltage of 1000 volts AC, rated for impulse voltage of 12kV. iii). ACB shall be of 4pole . it shall be TP with solid link in neutral. iv). ACBs shall be offered in frame sizes that are optimum for optimum panel dimensions. v). ACB shall omply with the environmental directives like RoHS. Product Environmental Profile shall be furnished to understand the environmental impact. vi). ACB shall have the breaking performance Icu = Ics = Icw (1sec) vii). ACBs shall be colour coded and shall be identifiable for different breaking capacities based on the colour code used. viii). ACBs shall have provision for terminal separator by construction. ix). It shall NOT be possible to rack out the ACB in ON condition and suitable racking handle shutter interlock with padlock arrangement shall be provided to ensure the safety of User and to avoid accidents.x). All air circuit breaker shall be fully tropicalized as standard & suitable for terminating copper bus bars. xi) ACBs shall be provided with terminal adapters for proper cable connections/bus duct connections. Terminal Adaptor orientation for top and bottom side shall be possible to be changed from vertical to horizontal or vice versa on site as per cable/bus duct entry. xii) Air circuit breaker shall be provided with electronic protection unit, with trip units shall have led Matrix/ LCD display with current measurement xiii). | 1.01xv). The Inbuilt protection release shall have following protections as standard: - a. Long time delay protection against overloads Ir from 0.2 to 1 x In (Step 1A) – OFF b. Long delay protection operation time tr = 40 ms ÷ 30 s c. Short time delay protection against short circuits Isd from 1,5Ir to 10 Ir – OFF d. Short time delay protection operation time (t=k, I2t=k) tsd = 40 ms ÷ 1 s e. Instantaneous protection against very high short circuits li from 2 to 15 In - OFF f. Earth fault current Ig from 0.2 ÷ 1In – OFF g. Time delay on earth fault tripping (t=k, I2t=k) tg from 80 ms ÷ 1s h. Neutral protection IN = 50% - 100% - 150% - 200% - OFF i. Overtemperature protection – an alarm shall be generated for temperature exceeding 75 °C and ACB shall trip for temperatures exceeding 95 °C inside the circuit breaker. xvi). All trip units shall have digital trip counter and shall offer ready summary of the no. of trips on account of individual faults. xvii). The trip unit shall be communication capable and shall be possible to upgrade for connectivity over Modbus without changing the trip unit in future. xviii). The trip unit shall have integral test button on front to test operation and the opening of the poles to verify the healthiness. xix). It shall be possible to monitor the status of the breaker, read information (firmware versions, device version, alarms, measurements, parameters, fault history), view the trip curve characteristics, generate reports based on the data stored and read by the protection unit by way of a manufacturer provided software. The connectivity shall be easily established by way of the micro-USB port. xx).
