Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Dedicated Delta Earthing System for Lightning Arresters of Power T/F Installed Under Electricity Urban Distribution Circle-I, Prayagraj

Following work is to be carried out under the jurisdiction of E.U.D.C.-I, Prayagraj.

Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a complete dedicated Delta Earthing System for Lightning Arresters (LAs) at 33/11 kV Sub-Stations, comprising the following: • 25 × 6 mm GI strip arranged in a triangular/Delta formation at a suitable angle. • Separate 25 × 6 mm GI earthing lead for each Lightning Arrester (LA). • One 40 mm diameter × 6.0 m long GI pipe earth electrode. • Earth pit of minimum size 600 × 600 mm and 6000 mm depth. • Approved earthing compound and suitable backfilling material. • RCC or other approved inspection chamber with a heavy-duty cover. • GI/Cu-compatible clamps, bolts, nuts, washers, lugs, and all other necessary jointing materials and accessories. • The scope shall include excavation, supply and installation of all materials, erection and connections, labour, transportation/carriage, jointing, testing, commissioning, and all other incidental works necessary to complete the system in all respects, in accordance with the approved drawings, technical specifications, and site requirements. All materials shall be supplied by the Contractor.
