SPECIAL REPAIR AND PROVISION OF CERTAIN WORKS AT MINICOY UNDER GE (NAVY) LAKSHADWEEP

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floors and pavings n. exc. 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and as directed

Dismantling of floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding but not backing coat and renmoval of rubbish out side MD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of wall and ceiling boards ( fibre, pulp, insulation etc.,) or inulation boards / slabs / blankets any thickness, including cover fillets complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F False ceiling all heights with semi performated 12mm thick thick micro tegular edged GRG false ceiling tiles of size 595 x 595 mm of approved texture, design and patterns having moisture content less than 2%, humidity resistance 99%, NRC0.50 to 0.75 as per IS 8225:1987, Noncombustible as per BS 476 (part 4 )-1970 and light reflectance of 85% (minimum) to be laid in true horizontal level suspended on interlocking metal T-Grid of hot dipped galvanized iron section of 0.33mm thick (galvanized @ 120 grams per sqm including both sides) comprising of main-T runners of size 15 x 32 mm of length 3000mm, cross-T of size 15x 32mm of length 1200mm and secondary intermediate cross-T of size 15 x 32 mm of length 600mm to form grid module of size 600x 600mm, suspended from ceiling using galvanized mild steel items (galvanizing @ 80 grams per sqm) i.e 50mm long, 8mm outer diameter M-6 dash fasteners, 6mm dia fully threaded hanger rod upto 1 OOOmm length and Lshape level adjuster of size 85x25x2mm.Galvanised iron perimeter wall angle of size 24x 24x0.40mm of length 3000 mm to be fixed on periphery wall I partition with the help of plastic rawl plugs at 450 mm center to center and 40mm long dry wall wood screws. The work shall be carried out as per specifications, drawing and as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down old chawkats or frams with shutter(without taking off shutters from frame) n.exc 1.5 sqm each complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down old chawkats or frams exc 1.5 sqm but n.exc 4 sqm each without taking off shutters from frame complete all as specified and directed.

S&F aluminium powder coated (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) anodised aluminium frame section of door, windows, ventilation, partion wall, cup board with one or more rebates including joinging cleats for fixing etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F aluminium powder coated anodised aluminium window and ventilator shutters, fixed type without sash bars, aluminium section weighing 0.55 Kg/m including necessary joining cleats, glazing clips, rubber neoprene packing, anodised aluminium snap beading,screws complete all as specified and as directed .

S & F factory made uPVC white colour Two track two panels sliding window upto 1.50 m height made of (big series) frame 67 x 50 mm & sash 46 x 62 mm both having wall thickness of 2.3 ± 0.2 mm and single glazing bead / double glazing bead of appropriate dimension . (Area of window above 1.75 sqm upto 2.50 sqm) comprising of uPVC multichambered frame, with inbuilt roller track and sash extruded profiles duly reinforced with 1.60 ± 0.2 mm thick galvanized mild steel section made from roll forming process of required length (shape & size according to uPVC profile), appropriate dimension of uPVC extruded glazing beads and uPVC extruded interlocks, EPDM gasket, wool pile, zinc alloy (white powder coated) touch locks with hook, zinc alloy body with single nylon rollers (weight bearing capacity to be 40 kg), G.I fasteners 100 x 8 mm size for fixing frame to finished wall and necessary stainless steel screws etc. Profile of frame & sash shall be mitred cut and fusion welded at all corners, including drilling of holes for fixing hardware’s and drainage of water etc. After fixing frame the gap between frame and adjacent finished wall shall be filled with weather proof silicon sealent over backer rod of required size and of approved quality, complete all as specified and directed . Note : (i) Glass or wiremesh shall be paid separately (ii) For uPVC frame and sash extruded profiles minus 5% tolerance in dimension i.e. in depth & width of profile shall be acceptable. Variation in profile dimension in higher side shall be accepted but no extra payment on this account shall be made

S&F louvered ventilator made out of multi chambered uPVC section with TPE gaskets having isolated drainage and renforced with galvanised iron profile through out window. The outer frame having a over all size of 60x60mm with reinforcement of 1.2mm thickness and mullion with over all size of 60X75mm with wall thickness of frame mullion shall be 2 - 2.2mm and reinforcement of 1.2mm thickness. Ventilator shall be provided with and including 5mm thick pin head glass with glazing bead for fixing of glass shall be of size 20X36mm complete all as specified and as directed.
