Cleaning of sedimentation with bleaching powder slurry and clear water including discarding of unusable filter media and disposing off same to a distance exc 500m and n exc 1KM, scrapping the internal surface of filter bed with wire brush, cleaning with bleaching powder slurry, clean all surface with fresh water and refilling up the filter media of complete all as specified and directed. Cleaning of RCC Semi under ground sump / OHR / suction gallery of following capacity at Chouldari Dam and Prothrapur by emptying the reservoirs, taking down the scale/sludge/mud/algae formed including and other foreign materials got deposited on side of walls and bottom of the tanks by scrapping and brushing with wire brush, cleaning with pressure pump, washing with bleaching powder slurry and allowing to dry and then washing and cleaning the tank with fresh water including applying one coat of white wash on internal surface of reservoirs / sumps and written details on tanks like date of cleaning, capacity of tanks etc on the outer side of the tank with synthetic enamel paint with letter size 20cm height, 10cm width in white colour, over a black background of size 100 x 60cm all as specified and directed. Note :-(i) Photographs of OHR and Sumps shall be submitted to JE Engr-in-Charge before and after cleaning by the contractor for safe custody/ maintaining records. (ii) Sample testing shall be done before and after cleaning of sump / OHR from auth Govt agency NABC accredited labs and test result shall be submitted to Engr-in-Charge

Cleaning of service tanks installed on roofs of multi-storied buildings at Chouldari and Prothrapur area by emptying the tanks, removing scale, dirt and all other foreign materials deposited inside nipples, on side of walls and bottom of the tanks by scrapping and brushing with wire brush , and pressure pump, cleaning with bleaching powder slurry and allowed to dry and then washing the tank with fresh water, Checking and removing Airlock if any on next day after cleaning of the tank, cleaning of vegetation, etc, on surrounding RCC slab where the tank is resting and writing on the tank the date of cleaning, capacity of tank, etc, with synthetic enamel paint of 10 cm high and 6 cm width letters in white colour, over a black background of size 450mm x 300mm complete all as specified and directed for the service tanks of capacity as shown below :- Notes :- Rate quoted is deemed to be including the following :- (a) Register having details of tanks cleaned date and building no with user signature shall be submitted to JE / Engr-in-Charge for safe custody/ maintenance of record. (b) Sample testing by NABL Accredited Laboratory for Microbial parameters of water samples from any three tanks for each Area / Location as decided by GE before and after cleaning of tank.

M&L for attending water supply break down including excavation and earthwork in mud by using earth moving machinery (Hitachi / labour to a length of 10 m approx and forming bund with excavated Hard / soft soil to avoid entering sea/raw water into the working area including pumping / bailing out water in working area by using portable diesel engine driven pump set complete all as directed and specified and including the following :- (i) Cutting of CI/DI pipe of size upto 400/350/300 mm dia after thorough inspection for the damage incl bailing out water using portable pump set. (ii) Taking out DI pipe after removing from tyton joints at both ends with the help of Hitachi and keeping aside for further disposal. (iii) Transporting DI pipe of size upto 400/350/300 mm dia to the site from Chouldhari dam, cutting the pipe into two pieces as per requirement and laying into the trenches using machinery. (iv) Jointing by using rubber tyton rings upto 400/350/300mm dia pipe to the corresponding socket and spigot ends of the existing pipeline after aligning the pipe line as per site condition, inserting the CI collar of size 400/350/300 mm dia complete all as directed.

Note for item No 29 above : (i) The rate is deemed to include cost towards tools and plants and transportation required for attending the repair work. (ii) The rate deemed to inclusive of soil additional if required to refilling / making bunds to prevent sea water entering into the work place complete. (iii) The cost of pipes, specials, Tyton/lead joints shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule. (iv) The breakdown complaint should be attended within 02 hrs with the intimation of Engr-in-Charge or concerned JE E/M by telephonically / verbally. Not attending of complaints within 2 hrs will lead to recovery from subsequent payment in the following manner:- (a) Not attending within 2 to 4 hrs : Rs.2000.00 (b) Not attending within 4 to 5 hrs : Rs.4000.00 (c) Not attending within 6 to 8 hrs : Rs.8000.00 (d) Not attending after 8 hrs : Rs.10000.00 (e) The maximum recovery will be Rs.50000.00 plus the expenditure of the same by any other means
