Earth work in excavation incl backfilling in all kinds of soil (except except soft and hard rock) for foundation, tunnels including trenches, pavements, wall footings, cable trenches, pipe sleepers, pits, general site grading etc., including removal of vegetation, shrubs and debris, cutting and dressing of sides in slops, leveling, grading and ramming of bottoms, de-watering from any source and keeping the surface dry till the completion of subsequent works and disposal or stacking of excavated material within a lead of 50 M, as directed including providing temporary supports to existing service lines such as water pipes, sewerage, electric-cables etc., all complete and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge but excluding shoring and strutting.

Earth Work in excavation for a depth upto 1.5 M

Earth Work in excavation for a depth beyond 1.5 M - 5.0 M

Excavation in all types of Rock (hard / Ordinary) :Excavation Work in Rock (all types & all Depths : hard / Ordinary) by mechanical means (Hydraulic / Pneumatic Excavator & Hand Operated ) and Manual means for all ty pes of Rock (Hard / Ordinary) including disposal of excavated Rock as per instruction of EIC, backfilling of available excavated earth neaty dressed - for all type of Rock (Blasting Prohibited). This job shall also may include of depth 1meter beneath bottom surface of the pipe. Site supervision & resource to be eployed as per direction of EIC

Providing and Placing in position approved type of 'SHORING AND STRUTTING' for the excavated surface i.e. pit, trenches, etc. including all labour, materials, erection of poling boards, wales, ballies, etc. keeping the same in position as required and dismantling and removal of the same from site after work etc. all complete and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge

For depth not exceeding 1.5 M

For depth exceeding 1.5 M but not exceeding 3 M

For depth exceeding 3.0M but not exceeding 5 M

SITE GRADING: Surface dressing (cleaning, levelling, stripping etc whatsoever to make approachable access for movement of machinaries at intended site) of the ground including removing vegetation and in - equalities not exsceeding 15 cm deep and siposal or fubbish, lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m - All kinds of soil surface, as per job requirement & directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying in position empty HDPE cementbags (Good condition & with filled material load bearing strength)filled with cement sand in the ratio 1:10 (1 cement:10 coarse sand),sewing the bags, handling, placing & watering etc. complete as directed by Engineer-In-Charge at washout sites along the pipeline "

Coating on pipe /sleeving section of diameter pipeline by owner supplied of Cold applied tape material- 3ply/2ply type tape, primer, putty of owner approved brand including wrapping machines as per specifications, application of Cold applied tape as per specifications /directions comprising of following activities/ jobs:- (i) Removing of old coat & wrap with scrappers using wooden/ brass hammers etc. (ii) Cleaning the pipe by sand blasting as per specifications and instructions of Site Engineer / Engineer-In-Charge. (iii) Applying one coat of liquid adhesive fast drying synthetic primer over the cleaned surface with the help of good approved quality bristle type painting brush / spray. (iv) Applying first layer of 3ply cold applied tape (Inner) for corrosion protection on the surface of primed pipe after touch dry with minimum overlap of 50% as recommended by the manufacturer followed by another second layer of 2 ply cold applied tape(outer) coating or as recommended by the manufacturer. Coating Material will be supplied by the Owner from Owner's Store Yards (Asanur/Trichy) and shall be transported to site at the Contractor's risk & cost. (v) Holiday Detection & Backfilling Holiday detection of the pipeline as per specification. The contractor shall properly provide compaction of the backfilled earth & restore the worksite to original conditions and Restoration of the ROW to the satisfaction of the Owner as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge or his representatives.

Preparation of half cut Sleeves by Taking 16"/14"12"/10"/8" MS Pipes from owners store at Manali/Asanur/trichy/madurai/Sankari/Devanagonthi (pipe will be supplied by Owner). The pipe is to be cut into halves of required length and its intrnal surface shall be matched with carrier pipe's OD mechanically, transporting the prepard sleeves to achiev desired fitment for welding. Welding of sleeves in both longitudinal and circumferential ends with electrodes of make Bohler or Esab or Lincoln or approved equivalent make of secific grade as per technical specifications of tender , insoection of the weld after root pass be Dye penetration test (consumbales for DP test shall be supplied by contractor) etc., required to complete work in all respect as decied and directd by the owner complete in all respect. item cost includes providing and supply all required manpower, generator, grinding welding machine and other required machinery, consumbales etc as per direction of EIC/Site enfineer. payment shall be made as per length of welding

Supplying & laying river sand in trench around the pipeline in required area consolidating same by thorough staration with water raming inlcuding all tools, tackles, transportation, labour etc complete in all respect as per direction of EIC.

WBM Road/ Concrete Road/ Metal Road cutting, including shoring, shuttering, providing by-pass etc: Cutting/ excavtion of roads, in locations where the trench is cut across roads including shoring, shuttering and providing temporary bridges/ suitable bypass of adequate strength & proper construction to allow the passage of normal traffic with minimum of inconvenience and interruptions. The Contractor should make good and restore such roads etc. to its original condition without any extra cost.
