GE I R AND D/CHD-36/2026-27 REPAIR TO ROAD, PATH AND ROAD FURNITURE IN AFTD, PPG, ZONE-IV, V, VIII, RTRS, SES AND ETF AT TBRL RANGE RAMGARH

Material and labour for scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area n.exc 400 Sqm and exc 50 mm and n.exc 100 mm deep complete all and removal of material to a distance exceeding 250 mtr but n exc 500 mtr and deposited on a level 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparing old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat/priming coat with using paving bitumen of V-10 @ 10 KG/10 Sqm over bituminous macadam complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for repairs to unlevelled surfaces by filling in premixed bituminous macadam using paving bitumin VG-30 @ 4% by weight of total mix laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 ton power roller (consolidated thickness of 75mm or less) and laid by mechanical paver finisher all as specified and directed.

Removal of material obtained from item No - 01 to a distance exceeding 250 mtr but not exc 500 mtr and depositing on a level 1.50 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc, cutting around edges making good by applying tack coat @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30mm rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleared surfaces with gunny bag to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming tack coat with bituminous primer by using paving bitumen of V-10 grade @ 5 kg/10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for laying, spreading 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete with 5.5% binder content of bitumen of VG-30 grade by weight of total mix, made with self propelling mechanical paver, rolled and consolidated to reqd camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Work shall be executed as per design mix approved by the GE. (ii) Filler shall be cement (OPC-43 Grade) (iii) Any variation in binder content during design mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the department. However, if binder content works out to be on minus side during design process (i.e less than 5.50%) same shall be adjusted considering the bitumen rate given in particular specification.

Material and labour for hot applied thermoplastic road marking compound minimum 2.5mm thick, using indigeneous modern propeller road marking machine including reflectorising glass beads @ 250gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads, as per the code of practice for road marking paints, white with hot thermoplastic road marking compound all as directed including applying one coat of sealing primer including all materials and labour, brushes, tools, equipment, fuel etc complete including applying paints in lines, dashes, arrows etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Road marking paint shall be carried out in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and as specified in particular specifications.

Supply and fixing in repair solar powered LED road studs /cat eye aluminium alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency monocrystalline solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd as per manufactures instructions etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair for metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermoplastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed.
