PART - I - CIVIL WORKS

Earth work excavation over areas in all soil by mechanical means / manual means upto 1.50m deep to required profile, level, grade, camber, dressing the sides, back filling, compacting in layers not exceedoing 150mm thick, ramming and preparing the bed for foundation including dewatering , shoring etc if required,disposing the surplus excavated materials at identified place within colony etc. complete all as per specification and directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and laying dry rubble stone hard core soling of 150mm consolidated thickness in sub base to required levels and lines with first quality rubble, hand set, well packed including filling the interstices with smaller stone chips, supplying & finishing/blinding the surfaces with approved blinding quality murrum/ stone dust including watering, consolidation etc. all complete as per specification drawings & as directed by EIC.

Cutting bituminous road surfaces & reinstating the same with servicable material and PCC including disposal of unserviceable materials at identified places within Colony etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (P.C.C. shall be paid seperately under releavent item)

Providing and fixing 60 mm thick (min.) factory made reflective (Glossy/ Smooth finish ) interlocking paver blocks of approved make & Bruce/ Colorado shape of (M/S.Super tile or other approved Equivalent), approved colour, shade, size, shape paver blocks manufactured with cement concrete grade not less than M-35. including supplying & laying 50 mm thick well graded stone dust evenly spread over the sub base including consolidation of sub base properly vibrating with the surface vibrator, finishing to line, level and slope, finally filling the joints with fine clean sand and cleaning the surface including removing existing shahabad stone and storing serviceale materials and disposing off the debris at the designated place within the colony,including taking permission from statutory authority etc complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing 80 mm thick (min.) factory made reflective (Smooth finish) interlocking paver blocks of approved make (M/S.Super tile or other Equivalent),approved colour, shade, size, shape glossy paver blocks manufactured with cement concrete grade not less than M-40. including supplying & laying 50 mm thick well graded stone dust evenly spread over the sub base including consolidation of sub base properly vibrating with th surface vibrator, finishing to line, level and slope, finally filling the joints with fine clean sand and cleaning the surface including removing existing shahabad stone and storing serviceale materials and disposing off the debris at the designated place within the colony,including taking permission from statutory authority etc complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Providing, laying and fixing precast interlocking refecltive and textured grass paver blocks of following grade of M/S Super tiles or other approved equivalent of approved colour, shade, size, shape manufactured with cement concrete grade not less than M-35, over layer of 50 to 100 mm thick murum as levelling/cushioning layer over well compacted sub-base , finishing to line, level and slope, finally filling the joints with fine clean sand and cleaning the surface including preparing the surface by levelling,dressing, spreading additional murum brought from a lead of 500 mts ,rolling the subgrade with 8 to 10 ton roller, disposing off the surplus debris/soil if any at the designated place within the colony, etc complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

a) 80 mm thick grass paver block of M-35 Grade of approved design, pattern and colour

Providing and fixing Glosy finished coloured cement chequered tiles of 30 mm thick of size 300 x 300 mm laid over concrete/soling / footpath in 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:6 bedding and joined with cement slurry and grouting with pigment of matching shade including filling the joints etc complete all as directed by the Engineer in charge.

a) For flooring

Labour charges for removing existing Kerb stones and raising the bottom level by PCC 1:3:6 andrefixing the Kerb stones into line and level, jointingwith cement mortar 1:3, curing &including painting etc complete all asas directed by the Engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing Hydraulically pressed factory made kerb stones full bull nose /half battered from approved manufacturers like M/s Super Tiles or other approved equivalent , made up of cement concrete grade not less than M-30 and having size 500 X 325 X 125 mm , of approved including removing the existing kerb stone stacking at designated place by EIC, necessary form work, compaction, finishing, curing, fixing with CM 1:3, jointing and pointing in cement mortar 1:3 including earth work and 75 mm thick & 200 mm wide PCC 1:3:6 for foundation below kerb stone etc. complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer in charge

Labour charges for removing and relaying existing 60/80mm interlocking paver blocks/ Shabad tile including supplying & laying 50 mm thick well graded stone dust evenly spread over the sub base including consolidation of sub base properly vibrating with th surface vibrator, finishing to line, level and slope, finally filling the joints with fine clean sand and cleaning the surface including removing existing shahabad stone and storing serviceale materials and disposing off the debris at the designated place within the colony,including taking permission from statutory authority etc complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Painting the Kerb stones of both existing and new ones in pattern with two coats of flat oil paint of approved colour and shade over one coat of approved primer including preparing the surface by brushing manually/washing with water jets wherever required and complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Providing & laying Design Mix Reinforced cement concrete of M-30 grade using graded stone aggregate of 20mm max. size including mechanical mixing, placing , vibration, consolidation, finishing, curing, providing & filling expansion joints wherever necessary etc.all Complete at all floors and heights / levels, in drains / nullah as specified including dewatering, if any ( excluding cost of form work, shuttering & steel reinforcement which shall be paid in the relevent item) as per drawings , specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Extra charges for concreting with Ready Mix concrete.

Reinforcement for reinforced cement concrete conforming to IS at all floors & levels including, supplying, cutting, bending, fixing and tying in position with 1.6 mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire including cost of binding wire, labour etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:Binding wire required for the work will have to be supplied by the contractor & the same will not be measured for payment.

a)With high yield strength deformed bars Fe 500 grade

Providing and Laying of Plain cement concrete using graded stone aggregate of 20 mm max size including consolidation, finishing, curing, cost of form work, shuttering, centering etc.complete all as directed by the EIC.-

Brickwork 230 mm thick using bricks as specified with cement mortar 1:4 in including curing, raking out joints above ground level simultaneous pointing below ground level etc. complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Random rubble masonry using spotless black trap or approved locally available stone in cement mortar 1:6 including raking out joints, simultaneously flush pointing using through bond stones at every 900 mm in horizontal & vertical courses of each layer, curing etc. complete all as per specifications, directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Cement plastering 20 mm thick using in CM 1:3(Cement1 : 3 Crushed sand) using fully treated dry, well graded natural sand conforming to IS 383 suitable for external plastering, having low rebound properties, low water demand for curing properties, mechnical mixing with water in a metalic tray only to make good consistency as per and applied over stone wall or brick walls or concrete surfaces at all floors and levels, including repaired surfaces as per manufacturer's specification, including scaffolding and removing existing damaged/ worn out plastering and disposing off debris out side colony etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by EIC.

Providing and fixing structural steel M. S. Angle, M. S. Chanel, M. S. Flat etc for fencing/grating at all levels and location as per existing design and pattern including supplying, cutting, fabricating, welding , erecting and fixing in position, including necessary scaffolding including painting whole angle with two coat of Epoxy paint of approved shade and on coat of approved epoxy primer etc. complete all as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and laying non pressure NP2 class RCC Hume pipes of approved make, with collars jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in proporation of 1:2 laying to the levels, slope and as per the drawing and specification and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge including testing of joints etc. complete.

Painting Paver blocks with two coats of Indigo floor paint paint of approved colour, shade & make including preparing surfaces by cleaning with bleaching and jet spray etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

b) On Paver surfaces with two finishing coats .

Providing and spreading manually red garden soil free from stones, pebbles etc.at site on grass paver blocks to fill the voids/ opening of grass paver blocks , wateing to settle the red soils, sweeping/brooming to clean the paver block surfaces, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge & as per specifications. (Quantity will be taken as per truck body measurement filled with red garden soil without deduction of any voids. )

Supplying, erecting & fixing in position 12 guage G.I. concertina wire fencing to existing barbed wire fencing /masonry wall work which consist of procuring G.I. concertina of approved quality, brand and of diameter as indicated below, erecting and fixing the same to top /side of ‘Y’ shaped angle provided over coping of compound wall, fixing concertina over ground along inside of compound wall including welding / screwing concertina to M.S. ‘Y’ angle to compound wall including cost of materials, labour, scaffolding etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

a) 600mm dia G.I. concertina to side / top of ‘Y’ shaped barbed wire fencing.

Supplying and fixing in position, 2 ply, 12 gauge, 4 spikes at 100 mm c/c G.I. barbed wire to M.S. angles / RCC wooden posts including supplying and fixing necessary ‘J’ hooks, bolts, nuts, washers, staples as required etc. including scafolding etc. complete all as per Engineer-In-charge direction.

Demolishing plain cement concrete works / stone masonary/ road cutting by chiseling at all levels including scaffolding, disposal of materials outside of colony etc, complete all as directed by the Engineer - in- charge.

Providing assistance to the departmental complaints of various nature viz including tools and manpower, loading, unloading etc complete all as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge. Note: 1. Each attended complaint shall be treated as one job which take full day per labour. 2. Material required for carrying job shall be supplied by the department free of cost. 3. The defective /unserviceable material shall be returned to stores of maintenance unit.

Disposal of debris such as excess earth, boulders unuseful concrete lumps, debris generated from various other works, unwanted materials including wooden and metal scraps, broken sanitary fittings/ fixtures, rejected cables, wires, rejected house holds, broken glasses pipes etc. accumulated in the surroundings of the various buildings, road/ footpath sides of Anushaktinagar including collecting, loading manually and mechanically as per requirement, levelling and dressin the spots from where debris is lifted and disposing of above debris at within Anushaktinagar designated place by EIC, including collecting, loading manually and mechanically as per requirement, levelling and dressing the spots from where debris is lifted and disposing of above debris at within Anushaktinagar designated place by EIC transporting by mechanical/ manual means, including labour, profit, etc. All Complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge Note: 1) Voids @30% shall be deducted from fully loaded truck measurements. 2) Measurements will be taken as per Truck body. 3) Cost includes nessasary permissions from statutory authorities for dumping the debris/ excess earth outside Anushaktinagar. 4) Regarding disposal from site of works, the agency has to abide the guidelines of constructions and demolition (C & D) waste management plan as approved by MCGM and any other regulations issued by statutory authorities in the matter from time to time including making necessary charges/ deposits etc. and department is not responsible in anyway in this regards. 5) Debris which cannot be loaded by JCB, has to be collected, lifted and loaded manually. 6) After removal of debris, the agency shall ensure proper leveling of surface.

Raised and cut pointing to stone work with cement mortar 1:4, including raking out joints, pointing neatly and finishing the joints as specified below including curing, scaffolding etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying one coat of base primer (Apex Ultima protect of M/s. Asian paints or Aquatech of M/s. ICI Dulux or equivalent) and two top coats of acrylic water proof exterior coating of Weathershield flexx rainproof system of M/s. ICI Dulux or other approved equivalent make and shade over the sand face / form finished surfaces / rough cast plaster at all locations as required, thoroughly mixed and applied at an interval of 6-8 hours for each successive coats and ensure consumption of 0.47 ltr/Sqm for 3 coats,(base coat @.29 Ltr/sqm & two top coats @0.18 Ltr/sqm ) for sand face surfaces including preparation of surface, cleaning and filling the cracks and crevices with Latex caulking crack filler etc. Complete generally as per the manufacturer's specification and as directed by the EIC.

a) Over sand faced plastered / Form finished surfaces/ RRM walls

Providing and fixing in position at all floors, levels / heights 18mm thick mirror polished natural stones slab of approved shade, finished sizes as directed including machine cut / hand cut, final cleaning, moulding and polishing of exposed edges, inline, level, plumb and fixing the stone with cm 1:3, 20mm backing & overlapping of 20mm shall be fixed with Araldite adhesive, with best workmanship, finishing, curing, including removing existing door frame, shutter & fittings etc.and depositing the same at dept store etc. complete all as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

a) Jet Black Granite Stone with mirror polish

Providing and fixing shone tiles or equivalent first quality glass mosaic tiles in dado / skirting at all floors and levels using tiles manufactured by M/s. Shoen Ceramics or approved equivalent of approved colour, shade,design and pattern and texture with 12 mm thick C:M 1:4 (Using factory made Ready Mix Mortar only) backing plaster or laid directly over tile using polymer cum cement based adhesive of approved as per manufacturer or approved by department including cutting, wastage, jointed with cement slurry, pointing with white cement having matching shade pigment, finishing in correct level, line, slope, plumb, cleaning, curing and including removing old / existing dado/skirting with backing plaster etc and disposal of debris inside Anushaktinagar colony at designated place etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(a) 20 X 20 mm or as per specified size tiles in design, pattern in multi colour in different proportions as per detailed sketch mural pattern.

Supply and fixing of outdoor Polycarbonate Convex Mirror of size 100 cm outdoor Diameter confirming to IS 3438 :1994 (Latest Amendment) with 130 Degree + actual viewing angle, equipped with adjusting swivel and mounting bracket for infinite adjustment etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- MS framing will be paid in releavent Item

Making Artistic painting as per sketch/ drawing using good quality acrylic paint and applying a layer of lacquire finish on the entire painting made on plastered masonry walls/ metalic surfaces etc. including surface preparation, filling the minor crackes, undulation etc. all complete as per directed by EIC. Measurement shall be done at the actual painted surface. Base painting of the surface shall be done and paid under sepearte item.

Providing and fixing aluminium composite panel cladding consisting of 4mm thick PVDF coated ACP sheets of ALUCOBOND (Germany)/ ALPOLIC (Japan) or any other approved reputed manufacturer comprising of 3mm thick polythelene sandwiched between two skins of 0.5mm thick aluminium foils with PVDF coated external skin in silver or any other approved mettalic or solid colour for minimum 25 microns thick, in form of panels with folds of 25mm around periphery, the corner and joints sealed with weather sealent DC 789/793 of GE/ Wacker or approved equivalent with stiffeners for panels to avoid buckling and deflection of sheets including necessary scaffolding, double scaffolding wherever required etc. complete all as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge Note :- Aluminium framing will be paid in releavent Item

Supplying, fabricating and fixing in position at all floors, lavels factory made Aluminium frame work for ACP of specified size, made of integrated bronze anodised matt finished (15micron thick) aluminium section (extruded) , handles of specified size etc, of approved manufacutres for following types with extruded sections of Jindal / Indal / Aluminax or other approved equivalent make of approved sections with size and weights as directed for frames and shutters(including wastages if any) wherever mitred joints required confirming to relevant IS specifications with all approved Bronze anodised aluminium fittings and accessories, latching fixture, 2/3 rollers with ball bearing of superior quality all as shown in the drawing including providing and fixing aluminium channel beading/glazing clips fixed with necessary bronze anodised screws, grouting the gap with sealant and including dismantling of existing window frame and shutter, glass and depositing same to dept store etc all complete generally as per drawing, specifications etc, all as directed by EIC. Note :Payment shall be made per Kg basis.Aluminium sections such as shutter frames, track window/door frame/beading channel for glass adjustable louvers etc.,shall only be measured linearly as per actual/finished cutting size nearest to centimetre and multiplied with sectional weight of the individual section and the total quantity of aluminium section will be arrived at for payment without any allowance for wastage.

Designing, providing, applying Artistic paint work using approved acrylic paints of approved picture of pet animals ,natures etc of approx size of 900 mm x 1200 mm over the existing rocks including all as per manufacturer's recommendations and as per the approved sample including providing necessary scaffolding,cleaning the surface with water to remove all coating, dust, filling up cracks & crevices with approved putty, curing the surface etc. complete as per specifications , drawings and as directed by Engineer in Charge
