REPAIR WORKS TO LT UG CABLES

Excavation in trenches n. exc 1.5 metre wide for taking out/ laying pipe line, cable, foundation etc. not exc exceeding 1.5 metre deep and getting out as in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed NOTES : Excavation work will be carried out by contractor manually and very carefully without endangering existing underground cables, pipe lines and adjoining structures, if any. In case any damage is caused, the same shall be made good by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated surplus spoil to a distance n. exc. 50m and depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Clean dry sand ( locally available) as cushioning for under ground cable 230 mm thick (one layer of 80 mm thickness before laying the cable and other layer of 150 mm thickness after laying the cable) complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- Punned down thickness (over all 180 mm) shall be considered for measurement and payment.

Brick protection with pulverized fuel ash lime bricks laid flat across the route of underground cable all as specified.

Servicing, cleaning and repairing by dismantling and taking out Air Circuit Breaker of capacity 400/630/800 amps, 3 pole 415 volts 50 Hz of any make and removing mechanical assembly fixed and moving contact set and replacing unserviceable mechanical parts like spring, bushes, levers and checking for worn out contacts, overvoltage and under voltage settings and replacing the following electrical parts (i) fixed contact assembly (ii) moving contact assembly, (iii) pole assembly (iv) Arc chute . Reassembling, testing and commissioning completely all as directed by Engineer in charge NOTE :- Replacement of unserviceable items/parts shall be measured & Paid for separately under respective items of BOQ.

Note :- (i) Di electric strength of oil after filteration/dehydration shall not be less than 60 KV at 2.5 mm gap. (ii) Oil for toping up shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule (iii) The contractor will take shut down orders in writing atleast two days before from Engr-in-charge before commencement of work. (iv) The dielectric strength of oil shall be tested before and after filtration and necessary test certificates shall be submitted to the Engr-in-chaerge.. (v) Oil filteration machine with all T&P & testing equipment required for filtration to be arranged by contractor without any extra cost to the department.

Supply & topping up of new transformer oil conforming to IS-335/1983 for transformer/VL unit/Isolation transformer/Servo Voltage Stabilizer, up to the marked level all as specified & as directed by Engr-in-charge Note: (i) Mineral oil grade shall be used. (ii) The transformer oil should have a IR value of the oil should not less than 60KV/Min (iii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to cost of filtration and testing etc

Supply and fix the silica Gel container (breather) including silica Gel suitable for the isolation transformers/servo controlled voltage stabilizer of capacity 50 KVA to 200 KVA after dismantling the old U/S breather complete all as specified and directed.

Repair and maintenance of Solar street light LED fittings of any type and capacity including cleaning of perplex cover where ever required and tightening of loose connection or brought it down for repair and fix it back after repair on the pole/Building all complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cleaning and washing of each solar street light panel once in a month to remove layer of dust and dirt from panels by simply wash the panel with water and rub the panel surface with a sponge. Note : (a) Do not use a metal grush or detergent to clean the solar panel surface. (b) The contract period is six months, hence each panel will be cleaned and washed six time and will be measured as one job. (c) Rates deemed to be inculded labour, water and sponge charges.

Supply and pour Battery Electrolyte (Distilled water with acid) once during contract period for solar batteries including checking the batteries all as specified and as directed.

Supply & fix lead coated battery bolts & nuts suitable for solar batteries all as specified and directed.

Dismantling the existing solar battery taking to the workshop for recharging the battery as per manufacturer instructions and bringing to the site and re-fixing the same as directed including testing of batteries for proper function with existing system complete all as specified and directed.

S&F maintenance free sealed batteries of size 120 AH 12V including taking out old unservicealbe batteries all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair LED Street light fitting 10/12W, DC suitable for solar street light with pressure die cast aluminium housing with heat reristant glass & IP 65 Protection better option for uniform distribution of light & including with all accessories fixing on pole/wall complete with necessary connection and all as specified and directed.

M&L for fabrication of Rectangular box of size 59cmx26cmx45cm made from 3 mm thick GI sheet suitable to accommodate solar battery including locking arrangements, providing support at the bottom and necessary fixing arrangements to fix the box on the pole and applying two coats synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including write pole No as per existing all as specified and directed.

Dismantling, shifting and refixing of solar street light pole incl fixture i.e solar street light fitting, battery including box from original place to other place within 5 km distance complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : PCC and excavation for re-fixing shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for PVC insulated & sheathed stranded FRLSH copper conductor three core cable 1100 Volts of size 2.5 sq. mm ( nominal area) conforming to IS 694 for making connection from junction box to light fittings IN REPLACEMENT complete all as specified.

S&F Aviation obstruction light LED comprising aluminium housing with poly carbonate enclosure, 302 members LED are provided IN REPLACEMENT complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for repairing and testing of Servo Controlled Stabilizer capacity 10/20 KVA at reputed workshop including disconnecting the LT cables complete and taking out the core and checking the continuity and insulation value of coils for all three phases, inspecting and reinsulating coils if required, repair and, replacing the wornout parts if any, all as specified and as direcrted. Note : The rate shall also deemed to be included the rate for : (i) Technician, Electrician,and labours. (ii) Rewing of coils (iii) Minor spares/parts. (iv) Transportaion charges upto workshop and back.

M & L for servicing of servo controlled volatge stabilizer of any make/type by disconnecting the LT cables and draining out oil complete and taking out the core and checking the continuity and insulation values of all three phases, reinsulating if required and inspecting and replacing the PCB in case of repair, repair and servicing of breaker, removing and cleaning the sludge from the tank, refilling the oil after filtering by using online centrifuge machine and obtain the dielectric strength of oil not below 60 KV at 2.5 mm gap including testing of volatge stabilizer by reconnecting the disconnected cables and calibrating complete all as specified and as direcrted. (Filtration of oil by using online centrifuge machine and top up of oil will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of the schedule) of following capacity:- Note : The rate shall also deemed to be included the rate for Technician, Electrician,and labours.

M & L for servicing of Isolation transforners of of any make/type by disconnecting the LT cables and draining out oil complete and taking out the core and checking the continuity and insulation value of coils for all three phases, inspecting and reinsulating coils if required, repair and servicing of breaker, replacing the wornout parts if any, removing and cleaning the tank, refilling the oil after filtering by using online centrifuge machine and obtain the dielectric strength of oil not below 60KV incliuding testing of isolation transformer by reconnecting the disconnected cables and calibrating complete all as specified and as direcrted of following capacity. (Filtration of oil by using online centrifuge machine and top up of oil will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of the schedule) Note : The rate shall also deemed to be included the rate for Technician, Electrician,and labours.

S&F in repair danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enameled white with letters figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps bolts and nuts of approved size for HT, 25x20 cm size including taking down old unserviceable one. Note : The letters should be in English/Hindi and Punjabi language)

M&L for Earthing IN REPLACEMENT complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, connected to and including GI strip 32x6 mm (upto the cross arms) by means of GI bolts/nuts/washers, protected by 40 mm bore GI medium grade pipe. Earth plate shall be surrounded by alternate layer of charcoal or coke and common salt 15 cm thick all around bottom and top. 20 mm bore GI light grade pipe for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, factory made PCC earthing pit chamber & cover including necessary excavation & earth work, all as specified & shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part – I.
