REPAIRS TO CERTAIN ARTERIAL ROUTES INTERNAL APPROACH PATH TO MD ACCN KERB STONE SIDE BERM CULVERT ETC IN CHUNABHATTI AREA UNDER AGE BR I AT NAVAL STATION KARANJA

Repairs to pot holes any depth not exceeding. 1sqm each including sweeping free form dust and mud or water and scoring sunken surfaces in roads, path etc cutting around edges atleast 25mm in depth making good by applying bitumen grade VG-10 as tack coat at 5Kg per 10 sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam with bitumen grade VG-30, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.80 Kg per 10 sqm binded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size & again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings ) depth of pot holes exc 30mm, rolled with power road roller of 08 to 10 tone capacity, complete, all as specified & directed using paving bitumen complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags removal of all loose dirt etc and applying evenly priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen grade VG-10 @ 5kg/10sqm all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for laying bituminous premix semidense asphaltic concrete 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen of VG-30 grade, mixed in computerised Hot Mix Plant and spread by means of self propelled Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using mechanical power road rolled 8 to 10 tonne capacity all as specified and directed. NOTE :- (i) The mix design shall be got done from approved lab and got approved from GE before commencement of work. (ii) In the event of variation in the mix design in the percentage of the binder content on minus side, the difference in quantity of binder content will be adjusted through supply only rate of Rs 36.0 per Kg of grade of VG-30 bitumen. However no adjustement shall be applicable is excess quantity of binder content is used/approved in the execution of work under this item.

Material and Labour for premix bituminous macadam, 75mm or less consolidated thickness by using paving bitumen VG-30 grade with binder content @ 4% by weight of total mix, laying with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm and n. enx 50mm deep including removing of debris and stacking complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete of any description in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for 100mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base for receiving floor finish complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour100 mm thick, Cement concrete 1:2:4, type B2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in pavings, hardstandings and similar work .
