Taking down existing water proofing treatment of any description including PCC padding, cement plaster any thickness from roof surfaces, cleaning of roof and prepairing it for further treatment including make good necessary dubbing out wherever required and removing rubbish from site complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for provn of water proofing roof treatment to RCC roof with APP modified membrane with non woven polyster reinforced weight not less than 3 Kg/Sqm of thickness not less than 3 mm having thermal; insulation with white plain mineral or gravel finish on upper side of membrane uniformely embedded during manufacturing process complete all as per following specifications:-

(a) 10 mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 mixed with and including water profofing compound @3% by weight of cement applied over roof slab. After the plaster is cured the roof will be tested for water tightening by ponding with water for seven days for any seepage / leakages etc. if any seepage is oberved the rectification will be carried out by pressure grouting under the pressure of 5 Kg/Sqcm using cement based cement grout. After the surface is repired the slab will be tested again for watertightness before processing further treatments.

(b) The surface of the roof, parapet and gutters, drain mouths etc. over which water profing treatment is to be applied shall be cleaned of all foreign matters such as fungus, mass, dust etc. by wire brushing and dusting. For cast iron drain outlets the grove shall be cut around to tuck in the treatment as pipes, chimneystacs etc. and other similar situations to ease up about corners.

(c) Bituminous primer conforming to IS : 3384-1965 @ 0.30 Kg/Sqm to be applied on prepared surface till the surface is properly impregnated.

(d) APP modified water proofing membrene as specified shall be laid on the primer surface by torch application method as per manufacturers instructions, the overlaps while torching shall be 100 mm in both directions (longititudinal and transverse directions). All overlap joints shall be sealed throughly by thermofusing both the membrene layers and sealing it with the help of hot trowel. The overlap joints shall be made as monolithic layer.

(e) All joints & changes in direction should be curved with cement motor 1:3 mixed with SBR latex @ 200 ml per beg of cement and cured well before laying the membrane.

(f) A fillet of PCC (1:2:4) type B-0 of 100 mm x 100 mm shall be provided at all junctions of vertical and horizontal surfaces and whereever there is a change of direction, the membrane should not be taken over at any steep turns and hence all corners /junctions should be rounded.

M&L 9-10 mm thick , 600 x 600mm size, ceramic roof cool tiles, white, confirms to sun reflective Index (SRI) value minimum of 90, over 15 mm thick CM 1:3 screed bed, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Integral waterproofing compound complete all as specified and directed.

M&L, 20mm thick Granite (of any tpe) work (table rubbed and polished) in cooking platforms and like laid over 20 mm thick Screed in CM (1:3) and pointing with white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite including necessary bull nosing to edgings complete all as specified and as directed.
