Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

18 mm cement plaster in two coats under layer 12 mm thick cement plaster 1:5 (1 cement: 5 coarse sand) finished with a top layer 6mm thick cement plaster 1:6 (1 cement: 6 fine sand).

Making double scaffolding system made of Bamboo, Ballies etc for carry out the structural repair work including form work for plastering/concrete applications of beams, columns, etc. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspectionof work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose.(The rate includes the cost of hire charges of scaffolding materials, labour charges for providing scaffolding, removal after the completion of work, transportation of scaffolding materials and all incidental charges)

Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge

Cleaning of reinforcement from rust from the reinforcing bars to give it a total rust free steel surface by using alkaline chemical rust remover of approved make with paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application with wire brush and thoroughly washing with water and allowing it to dry, all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing, mixing and applying bonding coat of approved adhesive on chipped portion of RCC as per specifications and direction of Engineer-In-charge complete in all respect.

SBR Polymer (@10% of cement weight) modified cementitious bond coat @ 2.2 kg cement per sqm of surface area mixed with specified proportion of approved polymer

Providing, mixing and applying SBR polymer (of approved make) modified Cement mortar in proportion of 1:4 (1 cement: 4 graded coarse sand with polymer minimum 2% by wt. of cement used) as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. Note: Measurement and payment: The pre-measurement of thickness shall be done just after the surface preparation is completed and Payment under this item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been done and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding / tapping with a blunt metal instrument and/or the 75mm size cube crushing strength at the end of 28 days to be not less than 30 N/Sqmm2).

25 mm average thickness in 2 layers.

50 mm average thickness in 3 layers.

Providing, mixing and applying SBR polymer (of approved make @ minimum 2% by wt. of cement used) modified plain/reinforced cement concrete for structural members having minimum characteristic compressive strength [with ordinary portland cement, coarse sand and graded stone aggregate of 10mm maximum size in proportion as per design criteria] with specified average thickness. Note: Rates shall be for finished surface area of concrete and shall include the cost of labour, concrete and appropriate approved Super- Plasticiser for rendering concrete as flowable and SBR polymer but shall exclude cost of reinforcement, bond coat, Shear Keys, centering and shuttering, strutting, propping etc. (Payment under this item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been done and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding/ tapping with a blunt metal instrument)

Providing, erecting, maintaining and removing temporary protective screens made out of specified fabric with all necessary fixing arrangement to ensure that it remains in position for the work duration as required by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing hard drawn steel wire fabric of size 75 x25 mm mesh or other suitable size wire mesh to be fixed & firmly anchored to the concrete surface by means of "L" shaped mild steel shear key welded with existing reinforcement including the cost of materials, labour, tool & plants as approved by Engineer-in-charge.

Repair to plaster of thickness 12mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sqm and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing plastering the wall surface with white cement based polymer modified self curing mortar, including disposal of rubbish, all complete as per the direction of Engineer-In- Charge.

Filling cracks with Dr Fixit Crack X Paste or Equivalent as per manufactures specifications & procedure including necessary Zoola,Ladder arrangements on external surface of building at all heights as per the direction of the Engineer in Charge.

Filling cracks of width more than 5 mm with Polymer Modiofied Mortor (Dr Fixit URP 301 or Equivalent - 1 Kgs : Gery Cement - 7 Kg : Coarse Sand- 21 Kgs ) as per manufactures specifications & procedure on external surface of building at all heights as per the direction of the Engineer in Charge.(The scaffolding/ Zoola arrangements will be paid for separately ).

Providing and applying two of coats of Dr.Fixit Roofseal classic or equivalent over a Dr Fixit 604 primeseal priming coat or equivalent in the following sequence of operations. a) Apply a coat of Dr Fixit 604 primeseal primer of the same manufacturer per manufacturere's specifications. b) Allow primer coat to dry for 6 hours c) Apply two coat of a Fixit Roofseal classic coat as per manufactrer's specifications. Note- Agency have to give guarantee for 3 years and 5% of the total cost of item shall be retained for 3 years.This amount shall be released after 3 years after issuing the certificate for satisfactory performance of the work.

Removing APP sheet and cleaning the surface for applying chemical water proofing treatment including scraping of loose flakes of membrane / algae/ paint/ dirt/ plant roots/ grease etc. with brush & scrapers etc. and wipe out all the loose dirt with profuse watering prior to treatment and disposal of unserviceable material outside campus in confirmity with approved local authority including all lifts involved etc complete as per direction of Engineer in charge.
