PART A - CONSTRUCTION OF TOILET AT 1ST FLOOR OF SCIENCE BLOCK

2.8) Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

2.8.1) All Kind of Soil

1.1.1) Transportation/carriage of balance excavated earth after back filling,building debrish,waste material,other garbage materials for disposal at the specified locations/areas,lead up to 2km as per the instruction of Engg-In-Charge.

2.27) Filling of sand under floors in trenches, sides of foundations etc. including supply of sand and watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing etc. all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

4.1) Providing and laying plain cement concrete at all depths below and upto ground level in foundations, fillings, non-suspended floors including tamping, curing etc. but excluding the cost of centering and shuttering etc. as specified or directed in any shape, position, thickness and finishing the top surface rough or smooth etc.all complete up to Plinth Level (CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE/ISSUE POINT INSIDE PLANT.)

4.1.3) 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

4.17) Making plinth protection 50 mm thick of cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement:3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) over 75mm thick bed of dry brick ballast 40 mm nominal size, well rammed and consolidated and grouted with fine sand, including finishing the top smooth,etc. all completed as per the instruction of Engg-In-Charge (CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE).

5.1) Providing and laying cement concrete for all RCC works with maximum 20mm size hard granite stone aggregate in roofs, including slope roof, stair case,landing slabs, canopies, chajjas, bands,lintels,beams,lofts,projections,manhole covers,valve chambers, retaining walls, abutments, foundation rafts etc.below ground level as per drawing, specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge at all heights including mechanical vibration for consolidation, curing for 3 weeks excluding cost of shuttering and steel reinforcement.The rate will be inclusive of finishing and plastering the exposed surfaces with cement mortar 1:3(1cement: 3 fine sand) of thickness not exceeding 6mm to give a smooth and even surface (CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE.)

5.1.2) Same as above item in 1:1.5:3(1cement:1.5 coarse sand:3stone aggregate 20mm & down size) up to plinth level (CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE.)

5.2.2) Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete of (1cement:1.5 sand:3graded stone aggreagates of 20 mm and down size) using Nowrangpur or approved quality sand, work in superstructure up to floor V level,roofs, slabs, lintels, beams,chajjas, coloums,walls in vertical or horizontal, fins,bressummers,shelves, suspended floors, landing, balconies, pillars,piers,abutments,posts and struts etc.in super structure at all heights including necessary curing, as directed by Engineer-in-Charge but excluding cost of reinforcement, centering and shuttering etc. complete( CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE).

5.9) Providing and fixing, centering and shuttering including curved, hexagonal and such other shaped shuttering for following as directed including strutting, bracing, propping etc. keeping the same in position during concreting and removal of the same after specified period etc. complete for all depths and heights.

5.9.1) Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc up to plinth.

5.15) Providing, hoisting and fixing upto all floor level pre-cast reinforced cement concrete in lintels, beams, bressummers, jalis,mouldings as in cornices, window sills, posts, struts and shelves etc. including finishing and plastering withcement mortar 1:3(1 cement: 3 fine sand) of thickness not exceeding 6mm on exposed surfaces to give a smooth & even surface,including centring, shuttering, and curing etc. but excluding cost of reinforcement with 1;2:4(1 cement:2 finesand: 4 graded stone aggregate of 20mm & down size) etc. all completed as per the direction of E-I-C. . 5.22.3) Bending / Binding and placing in position high yield deformed bars reinforcement conforming to IS:1139 or cold twisted deformed bars reinforcement conforming IS:1786 for R.C.C. work at all height and depths, carting the same from store / issue points to site of work, straightening, cleaning, bending to required shape and lengths as per details, including supplying and binding with contractor's own 16 SWG soft annealed binding wire and placing with proper cover blocks, supports, chairs, spacers and return of unused / scrap / unserviceable steel to owner's storagepointetc.allcomplete. 5.3) Add for plaster drip course/ groove in plastered surface or moulding to R.C.C. projections.

6.1.2) Providing and laying brick masonry with fly ash bricks in foundation, up to all depth in cement mortar 1:6 ( 1 cement : 6 sand ) using Nawarngapur or approved quality sand with brick class designation 50 including curing and racking out joints,scaffolding etc. all completed as per the direction of E-I-C.( FLY ASH BRICKS and CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE)

6.4.2) Providing and laying brick masonry with fly ash bricks in super structure up to all hight in cement mortar 1:6 ( 1 cement : 6 sand ) using Nawarngapur or approved quality sand with brick class designation 50 including curing and racking out joints,scaffolding etc. all completed as per the direction of E-I-C.( FLY ASH BRICKS and CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE)

6.13.2) Providing half brick masonary work in partition walls etc. for any depth below ground level/all heights above ground level, using 50 class designation brick in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 sand) including providing and fixing 2 nos. 8mm dia M.S.bars with binding wire at every fourth course in cement mortar,with necessary scaffolding staging, curing, raking out joints etc. all completed as per the direction of E-I-C.(CEMENT & STEEL SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE).

11.3.1) Providing & laying cement flooring 40mm thick with 1:2:4 (1cement: 2finesand: 4graded stone aggregate of 20mm & down size) finished with a floating coat of neat cement including cement slurry, rounding off edges and strips, curing, including providing and fixing 40 x 4mm glass strips for making panels etc. all complete. (CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE).

Providing and fixing the following standarded anodised aluminium fittings of approved quality with necessary screws etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer in charge.

9.119) Providing and fixing factory made P.V.C. door frame of size 50x47 mm with a wall thickness of 5 mm, made out of extruded 5mm rigid PVC foam sheet, mitred at corners and joined with 2 Nos of 150 mm long brackets of 15x15 mm M.S. square tube, the vertical door frame profiles to be reinforced with 19x19 mm M.S. square tube of 19 gauge, EPDM rubber gasket weather seal to be provided through out the frame. The door frame to be fixed to the wall using M.S. screws of 65/100 mm size, complete as per manufacturer’s specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

9.118.3) 25 mm thick PVC flush door shutters made out of a one piece Multi chamber extruded PVC section of the size of 762 mm X 25 mm or less as per requirement with an average wall thickness of 1 mm (± 0.3 mm). PVC foam end cap of size 23x10 mm are provided on both vertical edges to ensure the overall thickness of 25 mm. M.S. tube having dimensions 19 mm x 19 mm and 1.0 mm (± 0.1 mm) is inserted along the hinge side of the door. Core of the door shutter should be filled with High Density Polyurethane foam. The Top & Bottom edges of the shutter are covered with an end-cap of the size 25 mm X 11 mm. Door shutter shall be reinforced with special polymeric reinforcements as per manufacturer’s specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge to take up necessary hardware and fixtures. Stickers indicating the locations of hardware will be pasted at appropriate places etc. all complete as per the direction of Engg-in-Charge.

11.39) Providing and laying rectified Glazed Ceramic floor tiles (Johnson/kajaria/RAK/Orient Bell or equivalent) of size 300x300 mm or more (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of 1st quality conforming to IS : 15622, of approved make, in colours White,Ivory, Grey, Fume Red Brown, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 Cement: 4 Coarse sand), including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete as per the direction of Engg-in-Charge.[ ONLY GREY CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE.] .

11.36) Providing & laying Ist quality ceramic glazed wall tiles (Johnson/kajaria/RAK/Orient Bell or equivalent) 5mm thick in platforms, skirting,toilet walls etc.laid on bed of 12mm thick cement mortar 1:3 ( 1 cement:3 coarse sand), applying cement slurry @ 3.3 kg per sqm ,including supply of required white cement/colour pigment,curing, finished with flush pointing in white cement etc. all completed as per the direction of E-I-C.[ ONLY GREY CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE.] .

13.16.1) Providing and laying 6 mm cement plaster in cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 sand) with Nawarangapur or approved quality sand on concrete/masonry surfaces including cleaning , hacking concrete surfaces, scaffolding , providing drip mould if required, watering, curing etc. complete for all heights etc. all completed as per the direction of E-I-C.. (CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE).

13.1.2) Providing and laying 12mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:6 (1cement:6sand) using approved sand or including applying water to surface before plastering,scaffolding,curing up to 7 days etc. all complete for all height/depth etc. all completed as per the direction of E-I-C.. (CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE).

13.2.2) Providing and laying 15mm thick cement plaster(using Nowrangpur or approved quality sand) in cement mortar 1:6 (1cement:6 sand) on the rough sides of single or half brick wall or masonary work using approved type of sand including applying water to surface before plastering,scaffolding including curiing up to 7 days etc., all complete for all height etc. all completed as per the direction of E-I-C.( CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE )

13.26) Providing and applying plaster of paris putty of 2 mm thickness over plastered surface to prepare the surface even and smooth etc. all complete as per the direction of the Engg.-In-Charge.

13.42.1) Distempering with 1st quality acrylic washable distemper( ready mixed ) of approved make, after applying one coat of cement primer on walls and ceiling etc. of approved brand and manufacture on new work with approved shade to give an even shade complete up to the satisfaction of Engineer in charge, as per manufacture's specification,including scaffolding,all complete. Area must be cleaned off spilled paints etc. after completion of painting works.

13.8) Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth etc.all complete as per the direction of Engg-In-Charge.

13.46.1) Providing and applying arcylic paint New work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/ 10 sqm), to give an even shade after removing the foreign particle with wire brush etc. ( where ever required) on new work specified at all heights including all labour , tools , tackles scaffolding , consumables and materials required for the work and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

13.61.1) Painting two or more coats with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture in all shades on all types of surface like steel/wood/concrete/plaster/for lettering etc. all complete up to the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

12.41) Providing and fixing on wall face unplasticised Rigid PVC pipes for waste water drainage conforming to IS : 13592 Type A, including jointing with seal ring conforming to IS : 5382, leaving 10 mm gap for thermal expansion,(Single socketed pipes.)etc. all completed as per the direction of E-I-C.

19.21) Making connection of drain or sewer line with existing manhole including breaking into and making good the walls, floors with cement concrete 1:2:4 mix (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) cement plastered on both sides with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) finished with a floating coat of neat cement and making necessary channels for the drain etc. all completed as per the instruction of Engg-In-Charge.(CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE)

19.21.1) For pipes 100 to 230 mm diameter.

9.53) Supplying,Providing and fixing of 40 x 5 mm flat iron hold fast 400 mm long including fixing to wooden frame with 10mm dia bolts,nuts and embedding in cement concrete block 300x100x150 mm with (1cement:3corse sand:6 stone aggregates of 20 mm & down size) mix concrete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. 9.1.2) Providing,fabricating, & fixing seasoned salwoodworks in frames/ shutters of doors, windows, clerestory windows, false ceiling work and other frames, wrought framed and fixed in position including transportation from workshop to siteetc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

15.7.4) Demolishing brick work In cement mortar manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

15.9.2) Demolishing stone rubble masonry manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge :

15.3) Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.

9.53) Supplying,Providing and fixing of 40 x 5 mm flat iron hold fast 400 mm long including fixing to wooden frame with 10mm dia bolts,nuts and embedding in cement concrete block 300x100x150 mm with (1cement:3corse sand:6 stone aggregates of 20 mm & down size) mix concrete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. (CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE)

11.3) Cement concrete flooring 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate) finished with a floating coat of neat cement, including cement slurry, but excluding the cost of nosing of steps etc.all complete as per the direction of Engg-In-Charge.

11.3.1) 40 mm thick with 20 mm nominal size stone aggregate

21.1) Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators /frame and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling,C.P. brass / stainless steel screws,roller etc. all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Glazing to be paid in respective items separately) :

21.1.1.2) Powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) For fixed portion

21.1.2.2) For shutters and frames of doors, windows & ventilators including providing and fixing hinges/pivots/rollers with Powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket required (Fittings & glazings shall be paid in respective items separately)

21.3) Providing and fixing glazing in aluminium door, window, ventilator shutters and partitions etc. with EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket etc. complete as per the architectural drawings and the directions of engineer-in-charge . (Cost of aluminium snap beading shall be paid in respective items):

21.3.2) With float glass panes of 5.50 mm thickness

10.3.00) Providing and fixing in position collapsible steel shutters with vertical channels 20x10x2 mm and braced with flat iron diagonals 20x5 mm size, with top and bottom rail of T-iron 40x40x6 mm, with 40 mm dia steel pulleys, complete with bolts, nuts, locking arrangement, stoppers, handles, including applying a priming coat of approved steel primer etc. all completed as pert the direction of Engg-In-Charge.

10.28) Providing and fixing stainless steel ( Grade 304) railing made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, i/c fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners , stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-in-charge, ( for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.).
