Part “A” Drilling /boring of Pilot bore well, not more than 125mm dia at mentioned site for construction of Production Tube Well One Hundred and Fifty meters (150 M) deep by Air Rotary Method of Drilling. The job shall be inclusive of all logistic support in terms of men, machinery and stores etc at site. The charges on account of loading/unloading, shifting of men & machinery shall be arranged by the firm. The strata sampling is to be carried out along with drilling and the samples collected in the transparent plastic boxes duly labeled. Sample Collection of strata to be collected for examination after every 10 ft. The inspection at every stage shall be carried out by departmental experts to determine the aquifer zones. The construction of production tube well shall be decided after analysing the litho-logy of the test bore. This shall be duly authenticated by the site engineers/drilling staff including the contracting agency as well. The decision for construction of full-fledged production bore hole shall be then taken with proper ascertaining of quality and quantity of water. The rates quoted are for 150 meter depth is inclusive of facilitating the collection of water sample from the test bore in presence of the EIC and analysis of hydro geologist strata by the hydro geologist empanelled in the department and his recommendations thereof in consultation with EIC and AEE of the Sub Division.
Part “B” Artificial Gravel Packed Production Well: Construction of Production Well based on results of exploration data by a suitable method of drilling viz; Direct circulation method/Reverse circulation method up to the desired depth, One Hundred and Forty meters (m) as per the relevant IS Codes of practice for construction and testing of tube wells/bore wells, with time to time amendments in all kinds of soils, boulders, rocks, collapsible strata, saturated soils etc with the requisite accessories required there of including Bentonite mud, foam water Lubricants etc. The bore well is to be drilled as per the assembly chart data provided by the hydro geologist assigned by the department in accordance to the collected samples from the exploratory bore well and is to be completed up to the desired depth. The drilled bore hole is to be reamed on the same pilot bore up for open drilling and completed to the desired depth. Dia of well …… > 500/550 mm The dia of the well is to be achieved by way of reaming with Tungsten Carbide bit having following diameters; 200 mm 300 mm 400 mm 550 mm
Providing/Handling/Welding/Metal strip reinforcement at Joints/Aligning/Lowering as per design of M.S. Blind Pipe and slotted/strainer pipes confirming to IS: 4270:2001 Grade FE 410 and other relevant IS Codes with time to time having amendments of following Technical Specificaiton:- Min dia of Casing Pipe = 250 mm Thickness of Pipe = 8.0 mm Slotted Pipe …….. At appropriate Aquifer Zones Type…….. Seamless of Reputed make with material test certificates.
For 250 mm dia MS Blind Pipe
For 250 mm dia MS Slotted pipe
The annular Space between the casing pipe and the well surface has to be filled with pea gravel to act as a filter medium. The Gravel to be used in tube well shall be as specified in Relevant IS Codes. (Quantity shall be subject to the actual measurements at site)
The well is to be developed using compressed air from an Air Compressor of adequate capacity and pressure rating. As the water becomes clear, surging or backwashing is done to make the development more perfect. The final discharge should be free from sand. The Physic-chemical analysis of water sample tested has to be free from sand. The Physic-chemical analysis of water sample tested has to be as per the specified IS Codes. After completion of development the well is tested for its performance that is yield characteristic and efficiency. The water has to be disinfected after completion of test for yield to ensure that the quality of water and as laid down as per specified IS Standards. The grouting & sealing of the tube well has to be done to ensure safe sanitary conditions. An apron around the well (mix of M10 grade) & slopping away from it to protect the well from pollution has to be constructed to prevent contaminated water flowing back into it. The casing pipe is to be anchored within the apron by welding ISMC-150 steel bracing with crates & sufficient welding area 2 mtr length each bracing embedded within the apron (4 bracing). The complete well thus constructed is to be handed over to the territorial mechanical division for harnessing. The job includes P/F of bail plug as per site requirements. Technical Specifications: Minimum Run for compressor …….. 40 Hrs. Yield Test for Water (till desired Results) …. Min 30 Hrs. i. Apron Size= 2.5 mtr × 2.5 mtr. ii. Apron depth at skirt = 300 mm. iii. Apron depth at well casing= 350 mm
