REPAIR/MAINTENANCE AND REPLACEMENT OF OLD UNSV GI/CI PIPE LINES OF VARIOUS LOCATIONS INCLUDING CONTROL VALVES AND VALVE PITS ETC AT ZONE A AND ZONE B AT AF STN BIHTA

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 mtr wide and n.exc 1.5 mtr deep in loose / soft soil and getting out for under ground cable/ Pipe lines / erection of poles, stays etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavated material n.exc 50 mtr away and depositing where directed at a level n. exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded aggregate, mechanically crushed stone for mass filling in pole pit and foundation etc.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 20mm graded aggregate, mechanically crushed stone for mass filling in water supply pits and foundation all as specified.

S & F in replacement of old unsv MCCB triple pole 125 Amps with thermal magnetic trip and earth link connectors in LT control panel board where directed and making necessary electrical connections complete all as directed.

S & F in replacement of old unsv Power contactors 4 pole 40-63 Amps with 2NO+2NC where directed and making necessary electrical connections complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for cleaning of overhead reservoir internal portion from base to top including scraping of mud silt from base and walls, washing complete internal surfaces by using bleaching powder, antibacterial sodium hypochlorite solution, removing the silt/mud water out side the tank and de-silting from connecting pipes and applying internally one coat of lime wash to RCC walls, base of tanks of 50000 gallons upto 30 mtrs staging complete & writing details of cleaning in prescribed format complete all as specified and as directed. Therefore following procedure shall be followed during cleaning of OHT. (a) Cleaning of water tanks with high pressure water jet with pressure not exeeding 28Kg/Sqcm and remove all masses algae and dirt. (b) Removal of dirty water alongwith sludge using sludge machines and disposal of the same to a safe distance. (c) Scrubbing of floors using industrial vacuum cleaner. (d) Applying of anti bacterial sterilization to walls floors and roofs of tanks. (e) Testing of water shall be carried out after cleaning of tank and a certificate to this effect shall be submitted while claiming payment . (f) Tank capacity and date of cleaning shall be marked on tanks neatly with oil paint all as directed by the EIC. Location : Pump House No 2 (Near MES Colony) Note : Cleaning of reservoirs shall be carried out the gap in between 4-5 months or as and when required/demanded by the Engr-in-Charge.

S & F in replacement of old unsv fully automatic star delta starter assembly (ASD) - HGS Series having Range: 26 KW, conforms to IS/IEC 60947-4-1, provided with Protection Degree IP 54, having extended wide band coil, FRLS internal wiring, Class H insulation air break starter type, having contactor size 32, overload relay range 28 A to 40 A and complete suitable for 30/35HP sub mersible pumping set including fixing in same position and making necessary electrical connection to LT control panel of pump house and testing upto the satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge complete all as specified and as directed. Make: Havells Cat Part No IHHASDXB or equivalent in Schneider/ABB etc.

M & L for rewinding of burnt submersible pumping set of capacity 25/30HP capacity with the existing gauge of copper winding wire with same insulation including replacement of bearings complete all as per standard norms and testing upto the satisfaction of Engr in-charge.

Taking out old unserviceable DI/CI pipe with all fittings from trenches of following sizes all as directed :- (Note : Excavation & earth work will be measured & paid seperately under respective item).

Supply only DI pipe of 150 mm bore ISI marked, spigot and socketed type, Class K-7 centrifugally cast suitable for rubber tyton joints laid in trenches complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Earth work for excess width of taking down, route change of pipe & joints shall be measured and paid separately).

Supply & Fixing in replacement of old unsv CI Sluice valve with flanged ends of size 150 mm dia complete with gun metal or stainless steel spindle and cast iron hand wheel including rubber / fiber board gasket, nuts, washer etc. including taking down old/unservicable Sluice valve complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in Charge. Make: BVI/ Kirloskar/ Kishor/Kartar.

Cutting of existing cast iron pipe and reducing the length upto required level for insertion of new tee, branch connection or any other means etc. upto 150mm dia complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-charge.

M&L for Surface dressing in hard / dense soil not exceeding 15 cm deep and clearing all the grass, shrubs and bushes etc. in the sub station yard and making the surface/floor clean all as directed and specified.

Material and Labour for dismantling the 150mm dia bore sluice valves in various locations and reconditioning the sluice valve by replacing SS spindle, spindle nuts with brass ring, gland bush, nuts, gasket, bonnet and disc or as required at site complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for dismantling the 100 mm dia bore sluice valves in various locations and reconditioning the sluice valve by replacing SS spindle, spindle nuts with brass ring, gland bush, nuts, gasket ,bonnet and disc or as required at site complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for collection of water samples from various bore wells located at different area of air force station Bihta in white colour PVC containers of capacity not less than 5.0 Ltr, hygenically dry, neat & clean duly sealed and transporting the same to laboratory for followings tests of drinking water for portability charaterstics/parameter as per IS 10500-2012 from Government approved/certified laboratory seperately for each borewell and submit the test results/reports of water samples (bore well wise) to Engineer in charge for maintain the record at bore wells/sub divn level and Engineer in charge will submit the same as and when asked by GE complete all as specified and directed.
