Earth work in surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm in depth but exceeding 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan including getting out and disposal of excavated earth and lift up to 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in- Charge:All kinds of soil 50m lead as per HSR 4.7.1

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work below plinth level and up to Floor IV level:1 :4: 8 ( 1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-Ill) : 8 graded cum stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) as per HSR 6.1.6

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work below plinth level and up to Floor IV level: 1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand (zone-Ill): 10 cum graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) as per HSR 6.1.7

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work, where not included in the complete rate of RCC, including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position, binding, wastage, overlaps, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire etc. complete in all respect below plinth level Cold twisted bars as per HSR 6.33.3

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement-All work up to plinth level:1 : 1. 5: 3 ( 1 cement : 1. 5 coarse sand (zone-Ill): 3 cum graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) as per HSR 6.14.1

Brick work with common burnt clay non-modular bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundation and plinth in: Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand) as per HSR 7.21.1

Excavating, supplying and filling of local earth (including royalty) cum by mechanical transport up to a lead of 1 km also including ramming and watering of the earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm in trenches, plinth, sides of foundation etc. completeas per HSR 4.33

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work, where not included in the complete rate of RCC, ncluding straightening, cutting, bending,placing in position, binding, stage, overlaps, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, angers and annealed steel wire etc. complete in all respect above plinth level.(HSR 6.34.3) Cold twisted bars Note:- Reinforcement shall be measured in length including hooks, if any, separately for different diameters as actually used in work , excluding overlaps. Wastage, over1aps, couplings, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods of binding & placing shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcement

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work below plinth level and up to Floor IV level: 1 : 1 ½: 3 ( 1 Cement: 1 ½ coarse sand (zone-Ill) : 3 cum graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) (HSR 6.1.1)

Brick work with common burnt clay non-modular bricks of class designation 7 .5 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor IV level in all shapes and sizes in Cement mortar 1:6 as per HSR 7.22.2

Providing and laying of conglomerate floor 50mm thick cement concrete topping 1 :2:4 as per HSR 10.7

Steel work in built up tubular (round, square or rectangular hollow tubes etc.) trusses etc., including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer, including welding and bolted with special shaped washers etc. complete. Hot finished welded type tubes as per HSR 13.30.1

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work, where not included in the complete rate of RCC, including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position, binding, wastage, overlaps, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire etc. complete in all respect below plinth level as per (HSR 6.33.5)Note:- Reinforcement shall be measured in length including hooks, if any, separately for different diameters as actually used in work , excluding overlaps. Wastage, overlaps, couplings, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods of binding & placing shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcement.

Providing and fixing in position collapsible steel shutters with vertical channels 20x10x2 mm and braced with flat iron diagonals 20x5 mm size, with top and bottom rail of T-iron 40x40x6 mm, with 40 mm dia steel pulleys,complete with bolts, nuts, locking arrangement, stoppers, handles, including applying a priming coat of approved steel primeras per HSR 13.35

Providing corrugated G.S. sheet roofing including vertical / curved surface fixed with polymer coated J or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8 mm diameter with bitumen and G.I. limpet washers or with G.I. limpet washers filled with white lead, including a coat of approved steel primer and two coats of approved paint on overlapping of sheets complete (up to any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces), excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required 1.00 mm thick with zinc coating not less than 275 gm/m2 as per HSR 9.22.1

Excavation for roadwork in soil by manual/mechanical means including cutting , trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, including breaking of clods and disposal within ROW as per technical clause 301 of MORT&H specifications..(HSR 17.74)

Providing and laying in position machine batched and machine mixed design mix M-30 grade cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement, including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. All works up to plinth level (HSR 6.25 i) + (HSR 6.26.1 ) (Note :- Cement content considered in this item is @ 340 kg/cum. Less cement used as per design mix is recoverable. However no extra payment shall be made if excess cement is used as per design mix).

In case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR/DSR Items of Civil, P.H., & E.I. work depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR, the unit and nomenclature given in HSR shall be applicable. 2. Only reputed make material will be used (make/brand exhibited in HSR/DSR and exhibited in approved standard document) as approved by Engineer-in-charge, while executing various items/works at site.
