Taking down steel windows/ventilators glazed and gauged with guard bars and vetilators of area below 0.5 sqm each including all fittings including and fixtures and removed from site and disposed off outside MD land after complete all as specified and directed (Both glazed and gauged windows will be measured separately but guard bar will not be measured separately).

S&F powder coated aluminium frame (thickness of powder coating not less than 50 micron) chowkat or fixed type window / ventilator with provision of 10 Nos. aluminium channels for glass louvers for each ventilator, three track side, top and bottom channel for three track sliding window of any colour and for chowkat one or more rebates including joining cleat for fixing etc complete all as specified.

S&F powder coated aluminium window and ventilators shutters of any colour (thickness of powder coating not less than 50 micron) fixed/three track sliding types with roller for sliding and without sash bar, aluminium section weighing 0.55 kg/m including necessary joining cleats, glazing clips rubber pakcing with powder coated aluminium snap beading, screws etc complete all as specified. (Each shutter will be measured and Glass and wire mesh will be measured and paid separately).

M&L for MS framed work such as grills, gratings etc with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted or forged into spikers framed guard bars barred iron doors ladders, framed balusters walk way railing framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 including scaffolding and safety precautions to fix grills at G+3 storied building complete all as specified and as directed as per Drg No. CE Chennai Zone TD-590 Sht No. 1/4 to 4/4

M&L preparation of new or previously untreated steel and iron surfaces of any description, over 10 cm in width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enemal paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete including scaffording and safety precautions upto G+3 storied building all as specified and directed.

S&F 4 mm thick sheet glass ordinary quality and glazing with powder coated aluminium beading & rubber gasket in square n exc 0.50 sqm in each panes fixed in aluminium window shutters complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in stainless steel wire cloth 0.36 mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.40mm and fixed with stainless steel wire staples for fixing in aluminium shutter with aluminium snap beading & rubber gasket complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster, raking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc and a complete all as specified and directed

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in CM 1:6 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface of window/ ventilator jambs finished even and smooth with out using extra cement complete all as specified and directed

Applying two coats of oil bound distemper on newly plastered surfaces of window/ ventilator jambs including preparing the surfaces and applying one coat of alkali resistant priming paint complete all as specified and directed

M & L PCC (1:2:4) Type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps, seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs not provided, water trough and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating complete all as specified and directed Note for item No. 1 & 16 : (i) It is the responsibility of contractor to protect the material from theft and for storing of sch of credit material land will be shown at site and contractor will be permitted to construct temporary sheds at site only for storing of Sch of credit material. (ii) Dept. will not be responsible for any loss or shortfall found in nos of windows removed in respect of nos of windows fixed. (iii) Work to be carried out during occupation and user may not be permitted to work from inside and Contrctor have to work from outside. Rate quoted by contractor will be including this provision. (iv) Minor repair/rectification/alignment may be permitted to do from inside if occupants accepting subjected to cleaning of entire debris from inside. It is the responsibility of contractor to clean the inside with entire satisfaction of occupants. The rate quoted by contractor will be inclusive of this provision. (v) Damaged during surrounding surfaces except jambs during removal and fixing of new grill and chowkat, three track sliding windows or ventilators existing surface to be repaired to match with existing surface with similar materials complete as per satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge and quoted rate will be inclusive of this provision. (vi) Any remaining gaps between new grill, chowkat, three track sliding windows or ventilators should be filled with silicon based adhesive and quoted rate will be inclusive of this provision. (vii) All bldgs are of G+3 and all the windows of each bldg catered and contractor have to quote their rate after visiting the site.
