Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in Soft/ Loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches, n exc.1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in Depth ; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc n.exc 10 sq m on plan and n.exc.1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating post holes or similar holes, each not exceeding 0.5 Cum, getting out in Soft/ Loose soil, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance n exc 50 m and making good surface complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick in each layer as in soil complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Sand filling under floors or in foundations including watering and consolidation complete all as specified and directed.

Removing Excavated soils not exc 50 M and depositing where directed at a level not exc1.5 M above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Hardcore of gauge not exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and leveled in layers not exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface using broken stone or boulders complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Plain Cement Concrete Type D2 1:4:8 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in copings, bed plates, bed block for holdfasts, similar bands, plinth coarses, string coarses, lacing coarces, parapets nad railings upto 60 cm in height, filling in pressed steel door complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in copings, bed plates, bed block for holdfasts, filling in pressed steel door frames, benching, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating and including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.
