Excavation in any type of soil, hard rock, for formation of sports ground, hockey turf and allied works, to the required width, length, not exc 1.5m depth, levels and gradients as shown on drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The work shall include setting out, site clearance, excavation, dressing of sides, trimming and levelling of the formation, removal of roots and vegetation, breaking of small clods, watering and compaction of the prepared subgrade, and disposal of surplus excavated material, complete in all respects. Supply & spreading of ready mix concrete M-20 grade of 150mm thick in pavement by concrete pumps and transit trucks, with test certificates of cube tests. The rate shall also include for polythene film of 120 - 150 micron to be laid before laying of concrete. Measurements will be taken of the compacted thickness. Forming of 12 mm thk expansion joints. The joints shall be filled with bitumen filler and sealed with sealing compound etc. Item no. 20077.

Providing, supplying, laying and jointing RCC NP-2 class pipes of 450mm diameter for conveying surface rainwater to the rainwater harvesting collection tank, including excavation, bedding, laying to required line, level and gradient, jointing with RCC collars and cement mortar/sealant, and making watertight connection to the tank inlet, including all necessary fittings, backfilling, labour, materials and incidental works complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
