Construction of Bus Shelter in Siruvakkam at Siruvakkam Panchayat

Earth work excavation and depositing on banks with initial lead and lift in gravelly soil stiff clay, hard stiff clay, murram, boulders mixed with gravel as per SS 20-B for foundation.

Supplying and Filling foundation and basement with filling sand in layers not more than 15cm Thick well ramed, watered and compacted Complete complying with stanard specification.

Plain Cement Concrete 1:4:8 mix using 40 mm ISS HBG metal including cost and conveyace of all materials and all labour charges, etc.

Brick work in CM 1:5mix using country bricks, ground moulded of size 23 x 11 x 7cm for the following including curing etc., complete complying with standard specifications.

Supplying & Erecting centering for sides & soffiots including necessary supports & strutting upto 3.29m height for plane surfaces in all floors with all cross bracings complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and Fabricating and placing in position MS steel or Ribbed Tor Steel for all Reinforced Cement Concrete works as per the design given including cost of steel and binding wire in all floors etc, Complete complying with stanard specification.(MS rod or RTS bar will be supplied departmentally at section stores and cost will be recoverd at issue rate). the binding wire shall supplied by the contactor.

Reinforced cement concrete 1: 1.5 :3 (One of cement one and half of sand and three of hard broken stone jelly) using 20mm gauge hard broken granite stone jelly for all reinforced cement concrete works excluding cost and fabrication of reinforcement grills.

Paving the floor with scratch proof ceramic tiles of any colour and any size laid in CM 1:2, 20mm thick. And pointing with white cement 0.4 Kg per sqm mixed with colouring pigment to siut the colour of the tiles including finishing the joints neatly complying with the standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers. (The ceramic tiles should be got approved from the Departmental officers before execution).

Weathering course concrete using best quality broken brick jelly of size 20mm in pure slacked lime over the RCC roof slab in th proportion of brick jelly to lime being32:12.5 by the volume and laid over a single layer and consolidated to the required design & finished thick. beating the concrete with wooden beaters of approved pattern, keeping the surface contantly wetted with sprinking lime & jaggery water as per standard specifications etc., complete as directed by the departmental officers.
