REPAIRS MAINTANCE OF FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEMS AND PUMP SETS INCLUDING CONNECTED ITEMS UNDER GE NORTH BANGALORE

Repairs / maintenance of centrifugal / monoblock pumpsets regularly / systematically including inspection, adjustment, repairs by opening the pump set for carrying out the preventive maintenance and repairs by checking the serviceability and alignment of various spares, removing the unserviceable pump spares and replacing with new spare parts, components servicing, cleaning and overhauling the same by lubricating, replacement of gasket, refixing the same after servicing, testing the same for smooth running, replacing minor parts like gland rope, bolts & nuts, packing, threading and replacing spares and matching inclusive etc all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge of the following capacities pump sets. Note : New spares shall be measured and paid separately under relevent items. (a) 90 HP any model & make.

(b) 60 HP any model & make .

(c) 40 HP any model & make.

(d) 15 to 25 HP any model & make.

(e) 10 HP any model & make.

(f) 7.5 HP any model & make .

(g) Upto 5 HP any model & make .

Disconnecting the electric cable from the terminal box of motor/pump upto 10HP capacity, de-coupling the motor from the pump, remove the motor from the foundation bed and taking out the motor, transporting to authorised work shop and performing the required repair works, transporting the motor to site refixing on foundation bed with bolts and nuts, coupling the pump and motor with correct alignment, lubricating with grease and connecting the electrical connection and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE:- Repair works such as rewinding, repalcement of bearings or any other repairs will be measured and paid separately under relvent items.

Disconnecting the electric cable from the terminal box of motor/pump of 10HP to 30 HP capacity, de-coupling the motor from the pump, remove the motor from the foundation bed and taking out the motor, transporting to authorised work shop and performing the required repair works, transporting the motor to site refixing on foundation bed with bolts and nuts, coupling the pump and motor with correct alignment, lubricating with grease and connecting the electrical connection and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Dismantling by opening of the motor of capacity up to 5 HP and taking out the burnt copper winding / fiber strip / insulating material etc, clean the stator slot by CTC solution and renwal of copper winding with the same guage of wire with insulating material / fiber strip / varnishing, re assemble the motor with proper alignment and air tight etc including all as specified and directed by Engr -in- Charge.

Scraping the old painted surfaces by using wire brush / emery paper, preparation of the surfaces and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one a coat of primer for the following pumpset's /control panel /suction and delivery pipe of the pump house including marking flow of water and MES NO all as per norms complete all as specified and as directed. (a) 90 HP Pump set

Disconnecting the electrical connections, lifting the submersible pumpset with 50mm GI pipe from 500 to 700 feet depth bore well, up to 7.5 HP capacity and dismantling the pump set and rewinding the submerssible motor with super enamelled copper wire of suitable gauge replacing the damaged impeller, bearing of motor and pumps, bushes, stainer as per exisiting size and assembiling the same including necessary lathe works, fixing the motor and proper insulation,lowering, connecting, commissioning and testing complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-charge.

Disconnecting the electrical connections, lifting the submersible pumpset with 50mm GI pipe from 500 to 700 feet depth bore well, 10 HP to 12.5 HP capacity and dismantling the pump set and rewinding the submerssible motor with super enamelled copper wire of suitable gauge replacing the damaged impeller, bearing of motor and pumps, bushes, stainer as per exisiting size and assembiling the same including necessary lathe works, fixing the motor and proper insulation,lowering, connecting, commissioning and testing complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-charge.

Repairing to existing star / delta starter of any type including replacing with new spares ie. Contactor, timer, relays etc suitable for existing make and capacirty of ML1 / ML2 / ML3 / ML4 / ML1.5 / MK1. Note : Spares shall be measured and paid separately under relvent items.

Removing the defective single phase preventer from star/delta starter and supply and fixing new single phase preventer suitable for 60/ 40/ 30/ 25/ 20/ 15/ 12.5/ 10/ 7.5 and 5 HP capacity of motors all as specified and as directed.

Supply only starter contactor of ML 1.5 type all as per L&T Cat No. SS91851 or techno commercially equivalent makes specified in PS complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only starter contactor of ML 2 W type all as per L&T Cat No. CS96005LOOO or techno commercially equivalent makes specified in PS complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only starter relay of ML 2/3 type all as per L&T Cat No. SS91859OOCO/SS91859OOEO or techno commercially equivalent makes specified in PS complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only standard operating coil of ML 1.5 type all as per L&T Cat No. SS90873POOO or techno commercially equivalent makes specified in PS complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing the old / damaged fully automatic motor star / Delta starter by disconnecting incoming/outgoing supply and fix new fully automatic star / delta motor starter of the following model/type/make :- (a) ML 1.0 FASD type suitable for 10 to 20 HP motor.

(b) ML 2.0 FASD type suitable for 25 to 40 HP motor.

(c) ML 3 /MK 3 FASD type suitable for 60 to 90 HP motor.

Replacement of Electronic timers ST 100 operating range of 160V to 500V all as per L & T Cat No. ST80328OOOO/ST80329OOOO or techno commercially equivalent makes specified in PS complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling the existing old pressure gauge from the pump set/water supply line and provision of new pressure guage 1-10.6 kg per sq cm 100 mm dia dial 3/8" threaded type with stop cock arrangement complete all as specified and as directed.

Replacement of defective pump shaft as per existing type and size of the following capacity pump sets:- (a) 60 HP Pump set

(b) 40 HP Pump set

(c) 20 to 25 HP Pump set

(d) 10 to 15 HP Pump set

(e) Less than / upto 7.5 HP Pump Set

Dismantaling the old shaft of any type and size, performing the necessary lathe work, remetalling the shaft as per requirement and re fixing of the same for following capacity pump sets:- (a) 60 HP Pump set

(b) 40 HP Pump set

(c) 20 to 25 HP Pump set

(d) 10 to 15 HP Pump set

(e) Less than / upto 7.5 HP Pump Set

Replacement of existing defective CI star/circular coupling set with rubber gasket for centrifugal pumping set including key, lock, stud etc., complete all accessories as per existing shape and size of the following capacity pump sets. (a) 60 HP Pump set

(b) 40 HP Pump set

(c) 20 to 25 HP Pump set

(d) 10 to 15 HP Pump set

Replacement of submersible flat copper conductor cable of size 3 core 6 sq.mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Replacement of GI pipe medium grade 80 mm dia with socket/ flange type including all fittings complete all as specified and as directed.

Replacement of GI pipe medium grade 100 mm dia with socket/ flange type including all fittings complete all as specified and as directed.

Replacement of Voltmeter analog type of range 0-500 Volts complete all as specified and as directed.

Replacement of Ammeter analog type, of range 0-400 Amps complete all as specified and as directed.

Replacement of LED type indication lamps for RYB indication complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing of unserviceable foot valve from tank and replacement with new CI foot valve of following sizes:- (a) 150 mm dia bore

(b) 100 mm dia bore

(c) 80 mm dia bore

Replacement of Cast Iron air release valves of 80mm dia as required at site complete all as specified and as directed.

Replacement of sluice valve both side flanged and ISI marked conforming to IS-780, cast iron body with brass spindle and brass fly nuts, class PN-1.6 and cast iron hand wheel and joining with nut, bolt, washers and rubber insertion packing 6mm thick etc of following sizes:- (a) 200 mm dia bore

(b) 150 mm dia bore

(c) 100 mm dia bore

Removing the pump set from foundation, dismantling the unserviceable MS channel base & foundation, provision of mild steel MS channel / Tee section of the same size and thickness of exisitng one, fabricate the base suitable for the pump motor and fixed to the foundation and motor with necessary nuts, bolts, washers, all fixing arrangements etc including welding, fabrication work, cutting, grinding, making frame etc including foundation concrete in PCC (1:2:4) with necessary form work suitable for pump sets ranging from 20 HP to 90 HP capacity .

Removing of unserviceable lead joint of 80mm to 200 mm cast Iron pipe joints, supply fix new lead joints all as specified and directed.

Replacement of Delta VFD L 0.75 KW three phase AC Drive, ambient tempreture -20 to 60 degree celsius, out put frequency 1.0 -400 Hz, humidity 90%, motor rating 1 HP, including testing all as specified and as directed.

Sluice valve 80 mm dia cast iron class PN 1.6 suitable for fire hydrant including removal of old unserviceable valve complete all as specfied and as directed.

RRL hose pipe with brass connected socket for fire hydrant of size 63 mm dia & length 15 mtrs including removing of old unserviceable hose pipe all as specfied and as directed.

Repairs to Hose box made of 18 Gauge MS sheet 800 X 600 X 250 mm with double door with 4 mm thick sheet glass and door frame made of 16 Gauge MS sheet painted with to coats of synthetic enamel paint of approval colour red and removing of unserviceable Hose Box

Dismantling old unserviceable smoke detectors, (optical smoke Detector) including all accessories, supply and fix Detectors complying with and type certified to EN - 45, addressable type smoke detector photo electric / optical base, with self built intelligence as per IS: 11360 all as specfied and as directed.

Dismantling old unserviceable Response Indicator and supply and fix Response Indicator including all accessories required for installation at site all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge.

Dismantling old unserviceable Hooter and supply and fix Hooter suitable for existing system including all accessories required for installation at site all as specified and directed.

Dismantling old unserviceable Manual call point, supply and fix Manual call point suitable for existing system including all accessories required for installation at site all as specified and directed.

Dismantling old unserviceable fire alarm panel, supply and fix of 2 (Two) Zone conventional Microprocessor based fire alarm panel with response LEDs, appropriate device to high standard of performance, reliability, quality and comply with IS-2189: 1999 and tested by the ERTL (N) including all accessories required for installation at site all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge.

Removing old unserviceable cable and supply and fix fire alarm cable multi stranded copper conductor of size 1.5 sq.mm, twin core, insulated and sheathed FRLS cable drawn through PVC conduit medium grade of suitable size including all connected accessories required at site all as specified and directed by the Engr-in- charge.

Cleaning of existing smoke detectors with smooth cleaning brush, removing of dust particles and testing and refixing all as specified and as directed.

Repalcement of 'C' class MS pipe 100mm dia (as per IS 1239). laid in trenches, suspended from beams, RCC roof slabs with necessary specials such as tees, bends, flanges reducers etc complete including the cost of consumables for cutting, welding and painting of pipe with one coat of primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour and make all as specified and as directed. NOTE:- Earth work like Excavation, returning filling and removal of soil etc required at site shall be included in the quoted rate.
