COMPLETION OF BALANCE WORK FOR ADDN ALTN AT KHETRAPAL GROUND AT NDA KHADAKWASLA

Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with broom & finally fanning the cleaned surface with air blower/power compressor to remove all loosed dirt etc and aplying evenly a priming/tack coat of paving bitumen VG-10 grade paving bitumen @ 5 kg /Ten Sqm with bitumen sprayer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for premixed dense Bituminous Macadam (BM) (average consolidated thickness 75mm or less) laid, spread using mechanical paver with 4% binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen binder of grade VG - 30 grade by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using tandem vibratory roller of capacity exceeding 8 tonne but not exceeding 12 tonne complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for Item No.2.0:- (i) The actual binder content for BM used shall be as per optimised content based on job mix formula approved by CWE irrespective of whatever indicated in BOQ. (ii) Price adjustment shall be done on MINUS side only @ Rs. 61,680- per MT (without considering the permissible tolerence on minus side ) with reference to binder content indicated in BOQ. (iii) No price adjustment for Bitumen shall be done for variation on plus side. (iv) Rate quoted by contractor shall be deemed to include the taking of existing levels of Parade ground at an interval of 3m C/C on the entire Parade ground and laying the BM layer as per the levels directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing newly laid bitumenous macadam black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing cake muds etc sweeping with broom & finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loosed dirt etc and aplying a priming/tack coat of paving bitumen VG-10 grade paving bitumen @ 5 kg / Ten Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for bituminous premix Dense Asphaltic Concrete (DAC) 40 mm thick consolidated thickness using bitumen grade VG-30 with 6.0% binder content by weight of total mix , rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using hot mix plant and sensor paver & rolling by tandem vibratory roller to achieve 98% field density as per output given in respective clause and thereafter rolling by Pneumatic tyred roller subject to minimum 20 passes or as per directed by Engr-in-Charge complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of new or old black top top surface and painting lines,dashes, letters, arrows etc of any width or girth on road pavement and like with 2.0 mm thick thermoplastic Road marking paint white or golden yellow with glass retroreflective beads applied mechanically with thermoplastic applicator machines exc 10cm wide all as per manufacturer instructions and traffic diversion arrangement, if required complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 100mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in Flooring all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick/precast block /stone boulder walling built in cement mortar all as directed including removal of debris exc 500m but not exceeding 2 Km from site.

Demolition of PCC of any description and in any position not other wise specifically provided for including removal of debris exc 500m but not exceeding 2 Km from site.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5mtr wide and n.exc. 1.5m in depth for foundation and getting out in hard/dense soil.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundations filling and mass concrete

M&L for Brick work with fly ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone agg as in coping, on top of wall, bed blocks, lintel band upto 1.5 mtr span and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed including use & waste of necessary form work.

M & L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone agg as in surface channels and drains.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channels 40 cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement including forms, moulds mitred / stopped ends etc in manholes (inner girth only measured).

Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:4, on concrete surfaces finished even & smooth without using extra cement.

M & L for factory made perforated precast cement concrete for cover slab with/ without waste hole as directed for drain/ manhole set in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for MS framed work conforming to grade E-165 (Fe-290) or Fe-310-O of MS angle or other sections, such as grills, gratings with ends of bar shouldered and / or riveted or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; railings and like completed all as directed.

Preparing surfaces of steel exceeding 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer.

Returning filling in soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25cm.

Removing excavated material exceeding 500m but not exceedimg 2 Km and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point all as specified and directed.

Cutting holes into or through brick masonry built in cement mortar with pneumatic core cutter in superficial area n.exc.150 Sqcm and making good in CM 1:3 or concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 as required complete all as directed.

S&F 110 mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes, single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints laid in trenches or in floors all as directed.
