M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode size 600x600x6.0mm thick buried directly in ground vertically in a pit of depth not less than 2.25 mtr below ground levels with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level surrounded from all sides by mixture of charcoal and common salt (100 kg each) and electrode connected to and including galvanised earth strip 25X4 mm means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised steel and GI pipe light grade 20mm dia bore for watering funnel with wire mesh. CI cover with frame, PCC chamber pit with PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 excavation and earth work all as shown in electrical plate No 5 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion. NOTES : 1. The unit rate includes for protection pipe and GI wire dia from top of earth plate up to7.50 meter above ground level. 2. Filling of earth pit shall be done from vegetable soil,soil should be from any type of stone,aggregate,boulders or impurities except vegetable soil. 3. Rates of excavation, removal & returning filling of soil shall be deemed to be included .

M&L for lightening conductor assembly made out of 50 mm bore galvanised iron pipe light grade along with welded flange at one end and galvanised iron reducer socket 50 x 40mm at another end connected with 40 mm bore galvanised iron pipe light grade with one end galvanised iron reducer socket to connect air termination and connector for earth strip duly fixed with necessary nuts, bolts and washers in PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate of size 30cm x 30cm x30cm including dismantling/taking down old unservicable lightening conductors complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- GI pipe 40 mm, 50mm and air temination shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item as considered therein.

Supply and lay Tubes,'light grade' galvansized 50mm dia for erection of lightening conductor and cable protection with all fitting and fixed complete to walls and ceiling or laid in floors/road crossing all as specified.

Supply and lay Tubes,'light grade' galvansized 40mm dia for erection of lightening conductor and cable protection with all fitting and fixed complete to walls and ceiling or laid in floors/road crossing all as specified.

Supply and fix in repairs of Air termination, single pointed aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long, complete all as specified and directed

M & L for replacement of broken lightening conductor PCC by providing new PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate of size 600mmX600mmx150mm and above 300mmx300mmx150mm including 15 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4, grouting plastic gulli on room and flange to be fixed with screw after dismantling the existing PCC complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement porcelain insulator of required size not exceeding 10 cm long with two Nos hole each on both end for fixing properly with nuts and bolts on wall of buildings for separated to lightining conductor or earthing strip from building all as required at site complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- The distance between two insulators fixed on the wall not more than 1 mtr length.

M&L for testing of old earthing using calibrated earth tester and submitting result to Engineer -in -charge. Earthing which showing much more results as specified in IE rule and disconnetivity should be replaced with new earthing items are considered seperately. Note :- Watering of earthing with 2 Buckets (30Ltrs) water mixed with common salt (total 5 Kg) shall be carried out one day before the testing and the cost of the same shall deemed included in unit rate quoted under this item.

M&L for new earthing pit for old earthing chamber of size 45x45x45 cm in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20 mm graded aggregate with 40 mm thick pre-cast RCC cover in (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, reinforced with 8 mm dia bar @75mm c/c both way with two Nos lifting handles of 12 mm dia mild steel plain bar funnel with wire mesh,water poring arrangement ,connecting main earthing lead from earthing pit to test point /equipment complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hex. head screw, complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix GI strip 25x4 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors / down conductors / connecting to earth pit to equipement including removing the old unserviceable strip and brazing all the joints complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix Aluminium strip 25x3 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors / down conductors / connecting to earth pit to equipement including removing the old unserviceable strip and brazing all the joints complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix Copper strip 20x3 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors / down conductors / connecting to earth pit to equipement including removing the old unserviceable strip and brazing all the joints complete all as specified and as directed.
