Description:- Leak Sealing In TBM Tunnel through segment or through the joints of Segments:- - First to identify all leaking points in segment. Leakage may found through Grouting ports or through joint. Since at Joint , there is already installed Hydro Phillic profile, it is better to use only Low Viscous Two or three component Acrylates Resin for injection., injection cost, cost of consumables, OH,Profit.. - In Precast Segment where water seepage is observed through Grout ports hole to be drilled @ 12mm dia and 200mm long . Then to fix 10mm Dia Threaded Nozzle either GI or MS and to jam it by using Renderoc Plug or Sika Monotop 108. - When water seepage in from segment joints

600mm C/C along the affected portion of the segment joint. The remaining joint has to be sealed using PU sealant. - After 24hrs , a Two or three component Low viscous acrylate resin has to be injected at low pressure<5bar by using a Twin Piston pump preferably Electric operated or pneumatic. Two component to be pushed through two separate hose and ultimately meeting at Y connection and mixed through a Static Mixer before pushing through the nozzle and injected inside. Product of Sika like Injection 306 or from CICO Acryl Gel or similar (for which approval to be taken from competent authority) which is a Hydrophilic low viscous chemical injection resin to use in such problem where seepage is not controlled after Cement or PU injection. Rate is inclusive of all cost of Materials, cost of Drilling, nozzle fixing, patching, sealing at joints

METRO-KOL-HQ-ENGG/METRO RAILWAY Description:- Injecting and grouting low viscous moisture insensitive epoxy grout "CONBEXTRA 2 EP10 (M)" or equivalent material manufactured by SIKA/FOSROC/BASF/NORMAT/SUNANDA or manufacturer of repute into RCC elements such as RCC walls, columns, beams, ceilings etc. including drilling holes, inserting packers inside and mixing the grout in a mixer with mechanical stirrer as per the manufacturer's specifications and injecting the mix by using suitable gun/ pump at required pressures with all contractor's materials, labour, tools and tackles, taxes etc. complete in all respect. The grout should provide good general chemical resistance with 28 days compressive strength of at least 60 N/mm2. It shall have a density of 1060 kgs per cum and tensile strength 20 N/mm2 and flexural strength of 45N/mm2 as per 6319 part 4. Rates are inclusive of providing sealing material around the nipples or any other accessories for the packers etc., cutting of protruded ends of packers after grouting and setting of the same, cleaning etc. (The item shall be paid on actual consumption of epoxy grout only).

Description:- Stopping the flow of water with PU Foam in areas of heavy leakage including Supply

WS60" or equivalent material manufactured by SIKA/FOSROC/BASF/NORMAT/SUNANDA or manufacturer of repute for stopping flow of water. When mixed in the proportions supplied it reacts rapidly with water to form a foam barrier. Specific gravity of the product is 1.14. Viscosity 2-3 poise.

Description:- PU grouting in areas of water leaking cracks and expansion joints: Providing and application of poly-urethane grouting chemical two part polyurethane resin "Nitofill UR63" or equivalent material manufactured by SIKA/FOSROC/BASF/NORMAT/SUNANDA or manufacturer of repute including drilling holes of 10 mm diameter at intervals i.e between 200-500mm along the length of the crack. The drilling should be done at an angle of 45 degrees to the cracks in such a way that the holes crosses the crack. The distance between each packer shall depend on the length and width of the crack. Injection packers of dia 6mm/8 mm to be supplied by the contractor should be inserted into the pre-drilled holes at intervals i.e between 200-500mm along the length of the crack

sealing with PU grout: Supply & Application of Solvent free two part polyurethane resin "NITOFILL UR63" or equivalent manufactured by SIKA/FOSROC/BASF /NORMAT/SUNANDA or manufacturer of repute for sealing cracks. The product is to be applied by standard resin injection equipment. The injection pressure should be at least 0.4 N/mm2 (4 bar). The product should have low viscosity and adhere strongly to dry or wet concrete. It should withstand structural differential movement. It should withstand high hydrostatic pressure and be suitable for use in high temperature conditions as well. Viscosity at 20 degree centigrade is 3 Poise. Once the injected material is hardened, all the packers should be removed and injection holes are to be sealed with rapid setting grout material including cleaning the extra grout and making the surface plain and clean complete in all respects.
