SPECIAL REPAIR TO VARIOUS ROADS UNDER GE(NORTH) DELHI CANTT

Item No .1 Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400Sqm, depth exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 100 mm complete all as specified and directed.

Item No .2 M&L 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregates (granite, trap or basalt stone aggregate) of grading 2 (63 to 45mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed.

Item No .3 All as item No 2 above but except stone. Note :- Serviceable stone aggregate obtain from Srl item No 1 will be used.

Item No .4 M&L Repair to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to atleast 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming including supply of road metal complete all as specified and directed. Note : (a) DAC/BM will be measured and paid seperately. (b) Pot holes shall be filled up to existing level of road.

Item No .5 M & L for premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less thick ) binder content of 4% by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 complete all as specified and directed.

Item No .6 M&L preparation of WBM top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

Item No .7 M&L preparation of black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc all as specified and directed.

Item No .8 M&L for applying evenly a priming /tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-10 at the rate of 10 Kg per 10 Sqm on WBM surface complete all as specified and directed.

Item No .9 M & L for applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-10 at the rate of 5.00 Kg per 10 Sqm on old black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Item No .10 M&L bituminous premixed asphaltic dense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness using paving bitumen VG-30 with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, spread by means of self propelled sensor spreader/paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using Tandem vibratory steel wheel, static steel wheel and pneumatic type rollers complete all as specified and directed.

Item No .11 M&L bituminous premixed asphaltic dense concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness using paving bitumen VG-30 with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, spread by means of self propelled sensor spreader/paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using Tandem vibratory steel wheel, static steel wheel and pneumatic type rollers complete all as specified and directed.

Item No .12 All as per item No 11 here-in-before but manually paved over the road surface complete all as specified and directed (i) The work shall be carried out in the area of work where width of road below 3 mtr. (ii) Additional equipment, labourer reqd for work shall be included in the quoted rate and nothing extra shall be paid on this accout Note for Srl Item No 10, 11 & 12 (i) In design mix criteria if bituminous binder required more than 5.5 % nothing extra shall be admissible in quoted rates. (ii)If Bituminous binder quantity less than 5.5% then Rs 40.00 Per Kg shall be deducted from quoted rates. (iii) Quoted rates shall be inclusive of above provisions and bidder should consider this aspects while quoting the rates and no claim on this account will be entertained at later stage.

Item No .13 M&L for mastic asphalt wearing course of 25 mm thick with industrial grade 85/25 bitumen for mix Min 14% by weight of total mix and VG-10 @ 5Kg per 10 Sqm as tack coat and all meeting the requirement of IRC-107 of 2013 for surface preparation, tack coat, laying of mix, joints & grafting of chips etc laid to required camber & gradient complete all as specified and directed.

Item No .14 S&F in repair road STUD (CAT Eyes) of size 100 x 100 x 20mm made of polycarbonate with electronically welded prismatic retro- reflective lens panel of approved colour on both side for maximum retro- reflection in wet and dry condition, non breakable,dust proof type, fixed with epoxy chemical, nails, screws & clamps complete all as specified and directed.

Item No .15 S&F in repair solar road stud of size 125 x 125 x 25mm, madeout of toughened aluminium alloy body with polycabonate top cover, IP 65 protection against water ingress, having 03 No super bright LED on each side, coloured reflective LED cover, in built rechargeable battery, solar panel, visibility upto 800 mtr, automaticaly turns on at night and turns off at dawn, flashing for min 3 days once fully charge, suitable for night & adverse weather condition and fixed with epoxy chemical, cement and hardner complete all as specified and directed.

Item No .16 S &F reflective convex mirror of dia 800 mm and mounted over mild steel pipe 40 mm bore (medium grade) and 2.5 mtr long fixed in repairs complete all as specified and directed.

Item No .17 M&L for applying 2mm to 2.5 mm thick road marking strips/ line/dashes/ arrows/letters (retro-reflective ) of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/semi-automatic chemoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profiles shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of materials , labour etc on new/old road surface, including T&P cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc complete all as specified and directed.

Item No .18 M&L for Moorum/red bajri filling in road berms etc, laid in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed using vibrating plate or electric hand operated rammer including watering etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Moorum/red bajri required for filling shall be brought from outside of MOD land.

Item No .19 S&F speed breaker/ bumps made of ABS of high resistance to resist severe impacts and harsh weather conditions of size 350x250x50 mm yellow in color fixed / studded with reflectors on either side clearly visible during night hours including al necessary fixing/ fixtures/fittings arrangements complete all as specified and directed.

Item No .20 Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floor and in paving not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed.

Item No .21 Dismanteling of stone slab and tiles of any description or thickness laid dry as in floor and road side berm etc. complete all as specified & directed.

Item No .22 M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 ,using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Item No .23 M&L for machine pressed precast cement concrete interlocking paver block any colour of 80 mm thick, M-40 grade of any shape and size, conforming to IS-15658-2006 glossy finish laid in floor /pavement over sand cushioning over rammed earth/murrum filling complete all as specified & directed. Note :- Sand for cushioning will be measured and paid seperately.

Item No .24 All as per as per item no 23 above but except tiles complete all as specified & directed.

Item No .25 M& L PCC 1:2:4, type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in bencing, coping and apex stone etc complete all as specified and directed..

Item No .26 M& L fine aggregate sand for cushioning of interlocking paver block/tiles complete all as specified and directed..

Item No .27 M&L for factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade precast cement concrete / stone laid in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 including making the joints with or without grooves including making drainage opening where ever required complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) length of finished kerb edging shall be measured for payment (ii) Precast CC Kerb shall be approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Item No .28 M& L for painting of two coats synthetic enamel paint over kerb stone in white/black/yellow shades including priming coat and cleaning/ preparation of the surface laid as per design approved by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No .29 S&F in repair retro reflective delinator of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos of 100 mm dia highly reflective reflector made out of PMMA and mounted on MS pipe 50 mm dis, 900mm long duly powder coated anti rust and anti theft steel road, 2 Nos hold fast 20 cm long at bottom fixed on gound with block size 300x300x200mm in PCC 1:2:4 using 20mm graded stone aggregate including necessary excavation, earth work, removal of spoil to a distance exceeding 50 m away complete all as specified and as directed.
