Clearing and Grubbing Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth up to 300 mm, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, up to a lead of 1000 metres including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness. (Reference to MoRT&H's specification clause 201)

Box cutting or filling in Road embankment in all sorts of soil including spreading the spoils properly over the flank as necessary or on berm to approximate grade & camber and rolling the subgrade with power roller to proper camber and grade as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge including uprooting and removing plants and jungles when and where necessary. Depth upto 300 mm

Construction of Sub Base using local materials (A) By mix in place method Construction of Sub Base using well graded local materials, spreading in uniform layers with tractor mount motor grader on prepared surface in proper grade and camber, including screening material as necessary, mixing by mix in place method with Rotovator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including incidental costs for lighting, guarding, barricading including cost for hire and operational charges of machinery, tools & plants, including making necessary earthen bundh of one metre width on each side to protect the edges and cost for quality control etc. complete as per technical specification of clause 401 of Specification for Rural Roads (1st Revision), MORD.

Water Bound Macadam Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled steel/ vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density (Reference to MoRT&H's specification 404). 9A By Manual Means 9A(i) Grading-1(Table 400-9) 9A (i)(c) Using Screening (Table 400-10) Type-B (11.2 mm aggregate)

Prime Coat Providing and applying primer coat with cationic bitumen emulsion (Packed) CSS-1 Type grade conforming to IS:8887 on prepared porous granular surface including clearing of road surface and spraying primer using mechanical means (Reference to MORT&H's specification clause 502). i) On WMM/WBM surface @ 0.70-1.0kg /sqm.

Tack Coat Providing and applying tack coat with Cationic bitumen emulsion (RS1) complying with IS:8887 using emulsion pressure distributor on the prepared bituminous/granular /cement concrete pavement surface cleaned with mechanical broom and high pressure air jet (Reference to MORT&H's specification clause 503). i)On Granular surface treated with primer @ 0.25kg-0.30 /sqm.

ii) On bituminous surface @ 0.20kg- 0.3kg /sqm.

Open - Graded Premix Surfacing (penetration grade/modified bitumen) Binder Providing, laying and rolling of open - graded premix surfacing of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using viscosity grade bitumen of approved grade to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a smooth wheeled tandem or other approved type roller 8-10 tonne capacity, finished to required level and grades (Reference to MORT&H's specification clause 510). Case - I: Mechanical method using approved grade Bitumen and HMP of appropriate capacity not less than 75 tonnes/hour .

Seal Coat Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using. Type A and B seal coats (Reference to MORT&H's specification clause 511) Case - II : Type B Providing and laying of premix sand seal coat with HMP using approved crushed stone chipping and viscosity grade paving bitumen of suitable approved grade.
