Note :- The tenderer shall take into consideration the following points while quoting his rate for the item :-
(i) Total rubber deposit should be remove to a distance not less than kilometer and the debris/water vaccumed simultaneiously leaving no FOD so that the runway is available for operating immediately.
(ii) Rubber deposit debris should be in solid form when finally disposed.
(iii) In any emergency condition the machine should exit from the runway in less than 4 minutes without leaving any FOD.
(iv) Friction test should be carried out before and after rubber deposit removal operation.
(v) After carrying out rubber removal operation on the runway, the friction reading of the rubber removed segment should be minimum 0.60µ.
(vi) The surface of both concrete/bitumen (rigid/flexible shall not get any kind of damages during the process of rubber removal not or any adjoining area, Joint filling etc. Damages made if any shall be made good by the contractor without any extra cost.
(vii) Site availability shall be as per User's/site requuirement

Note :- The tenderer shall take into consideration the following points while quoting his rate for the item
(i) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of polymer modified emulsion(PME) than that mentioned above is used depending upon condition of the surface to be treated.
(ii) Minus price adjustment as pro-rata of quoted rate for min 1.0 litre/Sqm in two coats shall be made, if less quantity of PME as per manufacturer's instructions and subsequently approved by GE is used in work.
(iii) A preformance guarantee certificate for two year shall be submitted by the contractor to the completion of the works as specified.
(iv) PME must have penetration value of 10-20 mm and initial setting time four to five hours but not more than eight hours.
(v) Special care shall be taken to fill gaps/cracks with 6mm to 2.36 mm size coarse sand as per manufacturer’s instructions and quoted rate is included for repair of gaps/cracks.
(vi) Cost of trial patch 15m x 15m deemed to be included in rates quoted for above item. A Trial patch may be done before and to see the feasibility for application + drying from 1930 -0930 to make the surface available for operations from 0900 hours next day
(vii) To prevent the old runway marking when you are appling PME on runway surface
(viii) Work runway will be available from 1930 hours to 0830 hours next day. It should including application of PME + Drying time.
(ix) A Guarantee certificate for two years and Guarantee money 2% of total contact value shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work.
