Material and labour for racking out of old existing sealant compound and back up rod of the existing joints by special tools like cutting blades/machines, and cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air, made dry, vacuum cleaned and made free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris and applying two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before pouring the sealant and filled with closed cell medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 12 mm dia for complete length of the joint, and filled with polyurethane joint sealant meeting the requirements mentioned in BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30%, complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for racking out of old existing sealant compound, back up rod and filler board of the existing joints by special tools like racker/cutting blades/machines, cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air, made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris and applying two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the filler board and pouring the sealant , filled with pre-molded 25mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified and over it filled with closed cell medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 30mm dia for complete length of the joint and finally filled with polyurethane joint sealant meeting the requirements mentioned in BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor MAF of +/- 30% complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for preparing and cleaning of broken edges of concrete pavement, joints of any type and shape, free from loose particles, grease, oil, demolding agents etc., cutting and chiselling the existing damaged portion of edges of joints to provide a regular prismatic cavity as directed and cleaning by using blower etc., and washed with acid solutions if required and applying primer coat of epoxy (100 parts of epoxy resin with 50 parts of epoxy hardener by weight proportion) and filling the cut portion with epoxy mortar (with 100 parts of epoxy resin, alraldite with 50 parts of epoxy hardener, aradur mixed with 800 parts of quartz sand by weight) including temporary wooden strips or metal strips as formwork to edges of expansion/contraction/ dummy joints and trowelling the mixture to level with adjoining surface all as per manufacturer instruction complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for Cleaning of covered drains incl removal of silt, grass etc including depositing the same to distance n.exc 50 mtr away from the runway complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The actual depth of silt deposited in the drain only be considered for measurement.
Material and labour for painting Runway/Taxi track/ Apron marking with mechanized runway/road marking Air spray Painting equipment with one coat to give uniform finish using IS164 road marking water base paint of superior make like Asian/Berger/Nerolac/ITS Coatings or equivalent (Paint spreading rate per liter should be 6.02 Sqm for one coat) as approved by the Engineer-in-charge including cleaning the surface of all dirt, scales, oil, grease and other foreign material etc and lining out complete one coat of old work with white,black colours etc. complete all as specified and as directed. Note: i) One coat shall be applied two times during the contract period as per users requirement. ii) The existing paint peels/flakes shall be removed completely by using wire metal brush, metal scrapper, mechanised wire brush etc.,spraying water jet pressure washer complete as per direction of Engr-In-Charge/User satisfaction. iii) The quoted rate deemed to be inclusive of all works mentioned against the item. T&P for pressure washer and nothing extra shall be claimed by the contractor on this account.
Material and labour for painting the letters with 2 coats of water based paint on Runway/Taxiway/Apron and operational areas with adequate number of coats with IS164 water base road marking paint including cleaning the surface free of dirt, foreign materials, lining out and carriage of paint from stores etc. complete and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Material and labour Painting of Taxi way, / Apron marking with Retro Reflective road marking paint of superior make of Apco track / Fast track WBR 3427 of Asian/Berger/Nerolac/ITS Coatings or equivalent paint with Air spray Painting equipment including the application of high index glass beads (TTB 1325 type III and having refractive index 1.9 of Potters make or equivalent. The painting shall be done for the existing Taxiway / Apron markings as per the recommended dimensions as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. The existing painting shall be completely removed using heat gun, cylinder operated etc. complete and cleaning the surfaces thoroughly off all dirt , scales, oil, grease and other foreign material etc.shall be cleaned thoroughly off dirt, dust, scales, oil grease etc. before application of the paint. The painting to be applied should have a single coat coverage of @0.50 litre per sqm for paint and 500 grams per sqm for glass beads with One coat on old/new work for White, Yellow, Red colors. Note:- Retro reflective paint shall be applied as per manufacturers instructions along with MORTH Technology and specialty complete.
Demolition of reinforced cement concrete in ground floor and in paving not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and Labour for precast RCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in cover slab for culvert/drain and set in CM 1:4 including necessary form work complete all specified and as directed. Note: Reinforcement (Steel) will be measured & paid separately.
Material and labour for TMT bars 10mm and over cut to length, bend to shape required including cranking, hooking ends and binding with and including MS wire (annealed) not less than 0.90mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and laying Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60 mm thickness, M-35 Grade with grey cement and no pigment laid over and including 40mm thick sand cushioning complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for 75mm thick cement concrete type C-2, (1:3:6) (40 mm graded aggregate) as in plinth protection finished fair and even complete all as specified and as directed.
Surface dressing n exc 15 cm deep and getting out in soft soil complete all as specified and as directed. Note: i) The existing grass, plants, etc shall be removed/uprooted and the quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of the same.
Material and labour for 50mm thick cement concrete type C-2, (1:3:6) (40 mm graded stone aggregate) complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour in repairs razor blade galvanised barbed Concertina coil of 1050 mm diameter made out of 2.59 mm thick galvanised wire having weight of each coil @ 15.2 kg ± 5% of coil, stretched to a length of 10 to 12 m to achieve 950 mm dia as in fencing to steel posts and to another coil/MS ribs including fixing with special galvanised fasteners such as J clips, C clips, U clips all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Material and labour in repairs Reinforced punched barb tape, with short barbed profile made out of GI reinforced core steel wire 2.5 mm dia and 0.5 mm cold clenched strip barbs around the core wire including 12 gauge spring steel GI wire having minimum tensile strength of 1650 kg/sqmm including fixing to concertina coil/steel posts/frames complete all as specified and as directed.
Removing of excavated material n exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n exc 1.50m above the starting points in soil all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for polymer modified emulsion Rejuvenator (PME) on prepared old Black Top Surface. The Old Black Top Surfaces to be prepared by Brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, and then applying polymer modified emulsion (PME) in TWO COATS with 1 Litre (Undiluted) PME diluted in the ratio of 1:1 (Water : PME) to be applied uniformly on 1 Sqm area and ensure uniform finish of PME Rejuvenator on flexible surfaces. A mechanical spraying machine is required for blending PME Rejuvenator for its uniform application by skilled and qualified applicator to maintain quality performance of finished surface, complete as per technical Specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make of PME shall be of Hincol or as approved by GE.
Material and labour for filling of cracks of any size in flexible pavement of runway using Hincol road seal compound as per IS-17124-2019 type 2 as per manufacturer instruction including cleaning the surface from dust and debris using air blower complete all as specified and as directed.
Special Note : Please note that runway will be available to execute the work on week days, Saturday and Sunday or on holiday or as required by user. The tenderer has to execute the work as per users requirement and unit rate quoted by tenderer shall be deemed to include for this provision/condition. Also the tenderer cannot claim any extra payment on account of working hours lost due to aircraft flying operations.
