Dewatering the existing soakage wells/septic tanks by bailing out/pumping out or by any mechanical means and deposition the same off collected in closed tanker/container and removing, disposing outside of defence land without extra cost, no dewatering will be done in drainages or on open ground complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :1. This work shall be performed under the supervision of executives only. 2. For measurement purpose depth of sludge shall be the difference between depth of septic tank/soak well from sludge top and final depth of septic tank /sump/soak well cleaned.
Cleaning and De-sludging by removing semi solid sludge/solid sludge (Dry/wet condition) from the septic tank of any capacity at any depth mechanically in foul condition including necessary tools and plants required to removal of sludges and solid contents from the site complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : The sludge obtained after de-sludging is contractors property as credit schedule contractor should remove the sludge out side defence land immediately in covered vehicle without any extra cost. Necessary safety precautions shall be provided by contractor and cost of the quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of above factor.
Taking out [desilting] silt, bricks bats, debris, liquid waste, sludge in solid / semisolid state from the manholes of depth not exceeding 1.00 meter including pumping out water, slugging, diverting the flow in the drain, removing the sludge outside MOD land & disposing in a hygenic way as prescribed by local authority and cleaning the manholes with clean water etc through jet/ pressure pumping complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge.
All as per item 34 above manholes exceeding 1.0 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 metre deep from invert to top of manhole cover complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

Cleaning and removing scale, dirt etc from tanks and washing with bleaching powder without disturbing float valve including outlet pipe mouth etc using bleaching powder complete of capacity 500 litre including inscription of date of cleaning, Due date of cleaning in white paint of appropriate format (stencil cut 25 to 50 mm high letters) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge.
Supply and fix in repairs Vitreous china squatting pan "Orissa " pattern including P or S trap of size 580X440 mm white with intergral foot rests, excluding flushing cistern including setting the trap and pan in cement / lime concrete all as directed & making good the disturbed floors complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge.
Supply and fix in repair Vitreous china wash down water closet pan (Pedestal pattern) white including fixing bolts, seat cover, 'P' trap excluding flushing cistern, and fixed in position in repairs complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge.
S & F in repairs PVC flushing cistern of 10 litre capacity, low or high level with valveless syphonic action and float value, pull knob including brackets, PVC connection, PVC flush pipe 32 mm dia etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge.
M&L for Non skid ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm in floors etc., set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement including screed bed of 15mm CM 1:6 including dismantling of existing tiles of any description (but not backing) removing serviceable tiles from site and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge.
M&L glazed ceramic coloured tiles in vertical surface 450x300x7mm thick set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match incl rendering 10mm thick in CM (1:4) and finished rough, incl dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) removing serviceable tiles from site and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge.
All as per item No.62 above but size 300x200x7 mm thick set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white cement to match including backing coat of 10mm CM 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge.
Note for item No 01 to 63 : The following points should be adhered to:- (i) Contractor has to engage minimum two workers with machineries and equipments and one supervisor with mobile phones without camera. The team must be reported in the complaint cell/ sub div in proper uniform and with all necessary T&P, iron rods, sewage rodding machine, buckets, rope, ladder, safety mask, etc for execution of the item. The quoted rate shall also be included the cost of conveyance of workers, supervisors, materials and T&P. (ii) Team of workers with T&P shall be attend the complaints of the entire area as directed by Engr-in-charge and the completion of work shall be reported by 05:00 PM of every working day alongwith complaint slip duly signed by user. (iii) Contractor or his representative shall report daily at 09:00 AM in the office of Engr-in-charge/ complaint cell to receive complaint slip and necessary directions. Complaints received from JE/Engr-in-charge through telephone message also shall be attended on the same day. (iv) Attendance register shall be maintained by Engr-in-charge at sub divn/ complaint cell. In case of absence of workers a penal recovery of Rs 600 per day per worker shall be imposed on contractor. (v) A complaint register shall be maintained by JE and proper record of complaints received and attended with date and time shall be recorded and shall be signed daily by both the parties. Complaint register shall be kept on record of Engr-in-Charge after completion of work. (vi) Complaint register shall be maintained by JE and proper record of complaints received and attended with date and time shall be recorded and signed by both the parties at the end of the day.
(vii) Complaints of blockage of sewage line/ manhole/ nahani trap if unattended within 24 hours after issuance of complaint slips or telephonic direction a penalty of Rs 300/- per each complaint shall be imposed on contractor. (vi) GE/Engineer-in-charge will have no liability to give permanency of the employment of workers. A certificate in this regard shall be rendered by contractor prior to the commencement of the work. (vii) Payment to the workers shall be properly receipted. A certificate shall be produced by the contractor that the every employee engaged by him have been paid their wage in full. (viii)Contractor will not permitted to engage child labour in the work. (ix) Contractor shall provide uniform with name plate as approved by Engr-in-charge to the workers. (x) Supervisor shall need to receive & adhere necessary directions from JE/Engineer-in-charge and supervise the workers. Payment will be done on the basis of nature of complaints as per CA only. (xi) Each worker shall be submitted affidavit in stamp paper duly notary that he will not claim employment from department. (xii) Contractor shall submit accident /risk insurance policy of each worker engaged in cleaning sewage system and responsibility shall solely rest upon contractor. (xiii)All sewage cleaning work in the subject work should be done through mechanical equpment only. Involving manpower direct contact to sewage is strictly prohibited as per Government laws.
