Providing and fitting of Wood Works, Electrical Works and Other Works for Operators Room at SCCR Kupwara.

Wood Panelling Works Providing and fixing wooden panelling made of KD wood or any other approved seasoned wood, fixed over KD wooden battens of size 1½" × 1½" (or as approved) or over 12 mm thick plywood backing/battens, including all necessary nails, screws, Fevicol adhesive, fasteners, cutting, fitting, alignment and finishing complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.The item shall also include machine grinding/sanding of the wooden surface to obtain a smooth and uniform finish, followed by application of approved wood filler wherever required, and finishing with requisite coats of wood polish to achieve the desired shade and appearance complete. The rate shall include the cost of all materials, labour, carriage, loading, unloading, tools and plants, testing, commissioning and all incidental charges required for completion of the work in all respects as per approved specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Fabrication of New Wardrobe Providing and fixing wardrobe of size 7'-6" × 9'-0" × 2'-0" fabricated out of 18 mm thick MR grade plywood for outer frame, partitions, shelves and shutters and 12 mm thick MR grade plywood for back panel, including cutting, fitting and fixing complete.The item includes providing and pasting 1.0 mm thick decorative laminate (mica) of approved shade and make on exposed outer surfaces and shutters using approved adhesive, including edge finishing complete. The job further includes all necessary hardware fittings such as hinges, tower bolts, shutter link locks, magnetic catchers, handles, screws, nails, adhesives and other accessories required for proper operation of shutters and completion of the work in all respects. The rate shall include the cost of all materials, labour, carriage, loading, unloading, tools and plants, testing, commissioning and all incidental charges required for completion of the work in all respects as per approved specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of Old Wardrobe & Other Repair Works Dismantling and removal of existing old wardrobe including disposal of unserviceable material. The item further includes repairs to existing windows by replacement of broken glass panes, repair/replacement of damaged window frame members wherever required, preparation of surfaces and painting/polishing of window frames from inside with approved paint/polish of required shade.The job also includes providing and fixing new curtain rods of approved quality complete with brackets, holders, supports, curtains and all necessary fittings, fixtures, screws, fasteners and accessories required for proper installation and completion of the work in all respects.

Electrical Works Dismantling and removal of existing damaged/old electrical wiring, switch boards, switches, sockets, distribution boards, conduits, junction boxes and other electrical fittings complete, and providing, laying, testing and commissioning of new electrical installation comprising PVC insulated FR/FRLS copper conductor wiring of suitable sizes (1.5 sq.mm, 2.5 sq.mm and 4.0 sq.mm as required) drawn through heavy duty PVC conduits including all necessary accessories such as bends, saddles, junction boxes, inspection boxes, clips, screws and fasteners complete. The work includes providing and fixing modular type switch boards of approved make, 6A one-way switches, fan dimmers/regulators, 6A sockets, 16A power sockets with switches, 32A power sockets with switches, SP/DP MCBs of suitable ratings for lighting, power and air-conditioning circuits,minimum 6-way distribution board with all internal wiring, neutral link, earth bar and accessories complete. The rate shall include the cost of all materials, labour, carriage, loading, unloading, tools and plants, testing, commissioning and all incidental charges required for completion of the work in all respects as per approved specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
