Earth work in excavation by mechanical means(Hydraulic excavator)/manual means in foundation trenches or drains(Not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan),including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, liftup to 1.5mincluding getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m and lift upto 1.5m, as directed by Engineer-in-charge. All kinds of soil.

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level. Reinforced cement concrete gauge post of size 15cmx10cm (one side tapered in 5cm length) made with 1:2:4 concrete mix (1 cement, 2 coarse sand: 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size)-1.80m long.

Wooden gauge post of Sal wood size 20cmx10cm (Two sides tapered in 5cm length) -2.20m long. Cross sectional area of wooden gauge post =0.015 Sqm.

Painting and marking on wooden gauge Post: Painting of gauge post 1.80 m long with synthetic enamel of approved brand & manufacture to give an even shade by two or more coats and marking the gauge with japan paint Red, Black & White with standard metric gradation marking of 5 mm thickness in black & white alternately & red synthetic enamel of width 5mm at every 50 mm etc complete.
