PAVEMENT
Preparation of sub grade (Preparation of sub grade by excavating earth to an average depth of 22.50 cm, dressing to camber and consolidating with road roller, making good the undulations etc. and disposal of surplus earth, lead upto 50 m.)
Consolidation of sub-grade with road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity including making good the undulations etc. with earth or quarry spoils etc. and rerolling the sub grade.
Granular Sub-Base with Coarse Graded Material (Table:- 400- 2) A. Construction of granular sub-base by providing coarse graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401. i) Grading- I Materials
Water Bound Macadam (Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density.) A. By Manual Means ii) Grading- II (Using Scrining Type-A (13.2mm agg.)
Water Bound Macadam (Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density.) A. By Manual Means ii) Grading- III (Using Scrining Type-B (11.2mm agg.)

Prime coat (Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means.)
Tack cot Provideing and applying tack cot with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributter at the rate of 0.20 kg/sqm on the prepared bitumen / granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom.
Open - Graded Premix Surfacing (Providing, laying and rolling of open - graded premix surfacing of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or cut-back or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonne capacity, finished to required level and grades.) i) Case - I Open-Graded Premix Surfacing using cationic Bitumen Emulsion
Seal Coat (Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type A and B seal coats) i) Case - I : Type A
